MasterCard PayPass Locator

Couldn't be more wrong - none of the 5 places listed accept paypass and the two places I know that do aren't listed! Also innacurate locations eg. Claims there is an Aldi in my town (there isn't, never has been and there's nowhere they could build one).

This app simply doesn't work. 9 out of 10 places that are listed don't have paypass and have never heard of it. Don't waste your time with this app.

Should really add Tap&Pay for those of us with NFC can not only find the paypass terminal but use our phones to pay. Would make things a hell of a lot easier and this app would probably get used a lot more... Us Canadians cannot use Google wallet so this would be second best.

And the UI is god-awful

It helps find pay pass terminals that do not work. It tells you there are no terminals nearby when you are close enough to touch the terminal you just paid. The interface is poor. Submitting feedback is broken.

Does not process payment via NFC for master card based credit cards. They pay pass tab sent by my bank is worthless and not secure

The app doesn't even show a fraction of places that have contactless terminals. Even the technology is not deployed as I'd expect according to the publicity made and last, places which have contactless terminals have badly trained personnel which doesn't know how to use it and scared to hell to even try. Shame Mastercard + Banamex

Whenever I try to move the map away from my location, it pauses and says connection had been lost and shuts down. So annoying. Have to start over.

App is Unable to find internet access uaing wifi or 3g. LG Viper

This app does what it is supposed to do - locate those stores that accept pay pass. The app can be a little more intuitive but other than that, it is a good app. (Samsung Galaxy Note 2, AT&T)

Last update was June 2012. With new NFC changes in retail this needs revising.

As commented earlier, most locations listed do not accept PayPass. I am not sure this will stay installed for my area, though even when traveling I already lost most trust.

So i typed in an airport code ( SJO ) and crash... wow what a great app. Mastercard, just so you know... there really are good developers our there that can make apps that actually work... btw, all hail to your Q&A team.

This program is clearly in Beta, do not gall victim to this time wasting dream until it proves better experiences. As of now, bloat, junk app!!

Went to payless groceries in joplin Missouri after they said they had paypass when i went into store and asked they said they had the option but refuse to use it so lot of places do have it when i talked to management about it in store they said they used it for short time but never got paid by paypass so it stoped and they disconnected the service so its only good for McDonald's lol so sad

Clearly created by developers instead of designers—or devs who received designs and promptly ignored them. Labels get cut off, auto centering the map is more annoying than helpful, no proper support for larger screens, clearly hasn't been updated since Android 2.x was around...

This app is great to find places you can pay using Google Wallet. You can even report problems with places that are listed if they either don't accept PayPass or PayPass isn't working. I've tried the newer MasterCard Nearby app but isn't as good for locating PayPass locations as this app, which is all I was using it for anyway. Great app, but it DOES need an updated user interface (Material Design!). Another feature I would suggest is to be able to suggest New NFC businesses.

Helps you figure out where NFC is accepted. Super handy when you've forgotten your normal wallet.

Clunky and weird to use. Not all locations on map take PayPass. More merchants need to accept and/or be aware of PayPass. Gets annoying when the cashier looks at you like you're using an iPad in 1960 every time you pay with GWallet.

When Verizon elected to disable Google Wallet (the jerks) I both sent an email to the Dept of Justice suggesting a monopolist action that hurts consumers (they said no) and started to look for something else that uses my NFC capabilities (Samsung G4). I got the ISIS app (which is why Verizon killed Google Wallet. Had to get a new free SIM. Got it, loaded up ISIS only to find it does not work in the small town I live in called Denver. ;-) Continue hunting. Aha! MasterCard PayPass !! Loaded it and at Home Depot I tried to use it to pay. Nada -- after a minute or so I saw this is only to show me locations where I can USE PayPass -- WHO CARES

We really need the ability to add locations as we find them, other than that works well and in my area every location is correct

App is broken. No longer searches and has random crashes

Wrong location, and cannot remember user choice. And kinda useless. Do people who wrote this try to even use it?...

This app does find pay pass locations, but it does not completely accurate. When I tested it in my area it did not show Best Buy as having pay pass support, but I know for a fact that my local Best Buy does have pay pass.

This app needs updated with Material Design. It also needs to be updated to be more compatible with Android 5.0+. It should be formatted to look better on tablets, even in landscape mode. Since Google Wallet works anywhere Apple Pay does, this app will be more and more useful as Apple Pay grows. We need this app working better Mastercard!

Half the places that shows up stating to accept google wallet is wrong.. what a waste ...

This app is decent, but it's not very user friendly. It's hard to select the correct marker on the map. The pop up message about accessing your location is annoying.

Great solution for finding places that user NFC the other reviews were right out would be better if the app could remember your choices

App used to work nice with the near you option....now it's telling its telling I'm no ok state when I'm in tx...plz fix

Finally an app that can show me where I can use NFC around me.

The App is maybe better than nothing, but barely. Most 'locations' on the map don't really accept PayPass, and the UI is terrible. Maybe more merchants would support NFC if more people could RELIABLY search them out? Just saying.

There is room for improvement with this app and hopefully time will bring it. I really like the report a problem feature. The biggest problem with contractless payment is the merchants often refuse payment if I don't spend enough or they insist on an extra charge. So being able to report these locations will hopefully bring a better user experience for everyone. If a store has contactless payment, don't forget to use this feature if you have problems.

They should add the ability for users to add locations that can be made "trusted" by other members. Or at least add custom locations for yourself

I left my wallet at home , and I need it really remember I had setup my Google pay pass on my new phone. You guys have made my lunch experience filling

This app is a steaming pile of garbage. Would not pull GPS on a fully functional Nexus 5 to find a nearby location. Attempted several times and it failed out. Design is crap too android 3.x era GUI. Search function doesn't even work by vendor because keyboard enter button functions as a paragraph break. Worthless app in every sense.

Used this found 3 locations all of which no longer use the service.

Both the app and the information it provides are outdated. Locations are hit and miss.

All the locations I went to didn't have paypass. It made matters worse since I was almost out of gas and forgot my wallet at home!

App design is fine but every query I tried yielded wrong or at best very incomplete information.
