Please fix playback. It just crashes all the time

Been told that this is a waste of time so that's your cameras up for sale no bloody good to me stuff them

User blacklisted. ..thats what it says when i try to connect. MAPLINS HELP ME...PLS. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO.

Playback crashes app, thats the main reason i bought the system

It worked find at first but now refuses to let me log in. I'm sick of seeing ' login timedout' nothing had changed. Now it refuses to except my password despite it working on my laptop. Useless to me if I can't access the app away from home. There 'help' page is pointless. Cost a lot for the system and I bought it so I could view online.

Spent all this money for this feature and all i get is login time out, and so does my partner im on htc shes on Samsung!!!! Expensive system with cheap add on app that clearly has issues....then i seesomeof these complaints are over 2yr old.... just wow

Used to work great on an older android htc. Playback stopped working on Samsung S8. I can't remember when they last released an update.

Hi when are you going to fix this app? It does not work on the latest version of Android. Error when trying to set up in the first instance "Login Timeout". I have downloaded alternative app which does work.

App works a treat for live streaming and adjusting settings. However I cant playback recorded footage. App just shuts down after a few seconds (Xperia z1). Upgraded to a z5premium and same issue

This would be a useful app if it didn't crash every time I tried to play back an event. Efforts to contact developer have also proved to be fruitless as listed email address doesn't work.

App works good apart from playback functions which just crash the app.... Come on maplin and update this app with a fix. Expensive cameras for a non fully functional app.

Followed all instructions to a "t" constantly logs out, only got these cameras because I thought I could remotely view when I'm away. It's connected to the Internet, and I'm using a samsung s5 wig wifi and 4G. NOT GOOD!!!!!

Had a few issues until i sorted out my DDNS, once this was sorted had to access my DVR via my DDNS and it works a treat , eats at your data allowance though. Used on an emulator at work to get around the issues with my firms internet security App could of been more straight forward though,

This is a truly awful piece of software. The interface isn't great, instructions are poor, setting up is difficult. Functionality is terrible. Live viewing kind of works but one or more of my four cameras frequently drops out. Trying to view recorded playback is impossible. The app crashes every single time. It's a shame that the functionality of my DVR hardware is reduced by such rubbish software.

Live viewing is ok...but when trying to watch play back on my 6s edge it crashes after 10 seconds. This needs to be addressed.

Doesn't work on my phone. Login timeout every time I try and get on.

Its easy to use and set up, as long as you know what your doing, took 5 minutes to get sorted. But playback very slow and crashes also really hard to set up motion zone, would think again before buying this kit.

All I get is login time out despite following instruction exactly talked to Maplins tech dept and there are a number of setting that have to be enabled before it will work. These are not mentioned in the quick setup but may well be buried in the 143page manual. It would be good to include these settings to be checked in the quick setup document. Too many other reviewers have had the same frustrating problem. Thank you to Maplins tech dept for sorting it out for android anyway.

The app is ok when it works. However it seems to constantly timeout especially when moving between cameras. It needs fixing!!

Worked ok but couldn't do playback. Now can't live stream either. Send an email and its not a valid address

Cameras are good but the app is bollox

Works well, live monitor is quick, playback a bit slow , easy to set up, Crashes occasionally but I'm sure that'll be fixed as feedback received

On live playback the app crashes and stops after about 9 seconds on mine and my partners samsung galaxy s5. Everything else works fine please fix!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic.. When it works. Keep getting login timeouts after a week or so despite no input from me. Needs more support to fix problem.
