Only one problem. Why there isn't a login option.? When i have purchased your subscription online, why the hell you can't give me access to the news via a mob app? I mean its the basic of app development guys.... Do you guys even have this feature in line or you just heard it for the first time. Login for subsceibed customers its a thing in todays connected world.... Duh

I am very fond of this application especially the editorial section. It helps me a lot in gathering informations on current affairs for various competitive examinations. Besides it's a national news paper and we face the scarcity of availability as we live in the remote areas. So a must have application for all the students who are preparing for the govt. jobs.

I cannot thank enough you for adding this read aloud option. I can listen to my favorite article even when I am doing my other things. One request, please give an option of pause and resume because when I get a call it starts from the begging.

Becoming worst. It's better to read news in browsers than this app. If I leave the app during multitasking and when I come back to this app, the app opens up freshly and that old story which I was reading need to be searched again in the app. Very bad experience.

Editorial Page doesn't get Refreshed. Lead & other sections of Editorial & Opinions section gets refreshed every day. Editorial page is stuck on the date Nov 26, 2017. There might be a bug. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I had to uninstall the app due to irritating advertisements. Most of the time spent to close the pop window of advt. The app notifies that a new update is available. If one chooses to update, play store opens and says app is up to date and asks would you like to uninstall it.

Could not read a single news article in past two weeks or more. Opens up fine. Updates the home page. But as soon as I click on one of the articles, it crashes immediately. Same thing happens when I click on any notification- Unfortunately, the Hindu has stopped. Please fix ASAP.

Nice app.. But who is duffer speaker in speaking news. Some lady or illiterate girl. News is like 10-13Dec 2017.. She said this line like 10 minus 13 December 2017 Kindly check it.. Otherwise useful app

There might be bug in the app as the editorial section --editorial is not refreshing so could not see latest update articles over there. For other parts like comment, lead etc., Is refreshing well.

now it is far better than newspaper..because 1. i can read it anywhere..in bed, in taxi, in crowd, during lightless situation, etc. 2. and the most important thing is that it saves paper... thank you developers...

I have a recommendation. In "Editorial & Opinion" section along with heading it will be better to give a brief about the article. So that reader can know the content of article. Currently one needs to open the article. For ex in 13th Nov paper title of the article "Caught in the Middle" gives no clue about the content of the article.

App improved ! Only problem (after advts.) that u hv to open each section or tab to update articles(long time problem), I think there should be a single tab to update all articles in one go .

The Hindu has and still remains a newspaper with an uncompromising attitude towards quality. It has made sure to maintain it's position of being unbiased while it's contemporaries are failing miserably. Read and enjoy it if you want to crack UPSC or crack any competitive examination or maybe just boost up your knowledge and perspective.

I Love to read The Hindu. I'm addicted of this. Nice App but the problem is the Advertisement. Bcz I mainly read online through app at night, and suddenly Audible Advertisement begin automatically which annoyed me a lot. Plz Look into this. Apart from this, All the good. Thanks

Keep on doing what you are known best for - Journalism with Courage - Bring the facts to Readers to enable them to make their own opinion. Also please cover most of the India & the world instead of major focus on South India. Atleast major cities. Edit 1: App is crashing very badly since last 2 days... Unable to read news thoroughly after clicking on headlines. Edit 2: Seems, app developer is not interested in providing the update to my problem. Uninstalling the same. Thanks..

The Hindu has become a pet dog of the BJP govt. You didnt even cover the story of the death of a Judge, holding a grave case against Amit Shah. A judge who died under mysterious circumstances. We can expect that coward act from TOI or Hindustan Times, but from Hindu? Its such a shame. I am not only deleting your app, but also discontinuing your printed newspaper. THE HINDU you just tarnished our faith and deceived your loyal readers.

While we're reading news with text to speech Voice reading, please Highlight the particular text what it reads.. And it would be better if it reads news from a particular section. Sometimes we just stop reading and do another task and it starts reading from the first. No resume reading in Text to speech..

Blue hyperlinks on black background while in night mode are not very legible. Night mode needs many improvements. Why don't you consider ad-free monthly subscription?

I'm using The Hindu newspaper since 2011 but this paper is not easily available were I live. This apps fulfill all my needs. Good for competitive exam aspirants.

It refreshes automatically once I switch to some other apps on my phone. Thus, I have to navigate again and again to the news article that I was reading. Second, there's no pause option in the read aloud mode. Resolve these issues asap for our convenience.

Updated suggestion: Needed a sperate tab for fetching "The Hindu Explains " articles at one place. Still in the queue: Please, put the Today's Paper link in the app. I also request you to only aggregate the articles that r present in the physical paper. As I see in the Today's Paper > Front Page link of the web page has a lot more listings that actually are in the paper edition. Please, pass the message to the concerned team.

Great app when it comes to instant news access and information of national and international importance. Indispensable for civil service aspirants. I hope they would reduce the ads which are disturbing, and often annoying and sometimes takes away the pleasure and charm of reading.

The app is very good but contains too many ads which cause distractions while reading. I have bought the e-paper version of newspaper too. It would be best if e-paper was synced with the app.

Nice update with the recent one which can adjust the pace and pitch of read aloud option. But I have a suggestion regarding loud aloud. Please provide an option to PAUSE ! And play.

This app proved to be a huge benefit for me. But for the last few days, the editorial section is not getting updated after 26/11/2017 and only previous posts are being shown. Please resolve this issue.

This app is giving so many annoying add and also disturbing reader's experience . Guys please enhance the performance of the app. The Hindu is the prestigious news paper.

I love the "read out loud" feature in the app... But I wish u provide *pause* and *play* option in the app. Because it's quite time consuming since I have to start over the news article from the beginning if I happened to stop it in between.

I loved the offline mode besides the useful information provided by them.But sometimes the advertisements are bit annoying. But if you are looking for a good news app you can ignore the advertisements.

Worst app after update... Editorials have not been updated since a long time

Nice contents... App is good. Easy to use. Only thing I concerned about is why this app need permission to manage calls and development team should work on memory management.

I have been regular reader of the Hindu for past 5 years. I feel users of the Hindu application will be ready to PAY for a premium version if following features are provided. 1) A widget feature on home-sceen with dedicated settings for content one can view like in TOI app. 2) Daily newspaper facility in the app. 3) Advertisement free user interface. I hope above suggestions shall lead to a new updated application version soon

Although I love this aap but there's a slight problem with font. I can't read smaller fonts and hence I use a larger one but even the XL font by the aap is not big enough to accommodate on my tab and hence makes my reading experience bad.

App shuts down by itself within 5 seconds and one cannot even click on the news and read them. I don't need headlines, I want to read the whole news which is impossible because the app shuts down by itself. Very disappointed!!!

Everything of this app is good but the only problem is with the editorial section. It is not updated since 26th nov 2017, I have updated the app but the problem is still there. Please check it.

The news reading is not too good. Saving option of articles should be provided.

Hindu is my all time favourite. Always significant, great oratory and colossal stories n editorials. Apps read to me feature is very convenient because it allows me to listen big articles through headphones when I am travelling.

The app crashes when I try to open any article! Please look into it and fix it soon! It was the perfect app for news
