Gallery Lock (Hide pictures)

This app works well for hiding pictures, but my only problem is that when installing the stealth mode enabled there was a very laggy point and I was terrified. I thought I had installed a virus. But things worked themselves out so yay. But because of the rollercoaster of emotion I have to rate it down. Make that part more smoother please. Maybe it was my phone and if it was then I'm sorry for this review.

I'm using a Galaxy J3. There's no way to hide an album, only selected pictures. Plus, it makes copies of pics and hides them in the app, then when you want to delete the copies, there is no way to select multiples to delete. Total pain in the ass! Why can't someone make an app that you select an entire album from your Gallery, then it "moves" the albums inside the "hide" app????????? My old LG Lucid had that feature built right into the phone. It was so nice and easy.

Nice app but I hav changed my set to redmi note 3, stealth mode not working.. It *7777 hides the icon but after hiding the icon will never show again I have lost my important pic. Plz help me app building team.

This app is not working properly. The files which I have deleted deliberately, I m getting back on recovery why it is so. It not getting deleted permanently. Please solve this problem. It might be using my SD card memory storage. It also has scrolling problems. Please solve all the issues and there is no update since 6-8 months, nothing​ new is coming neither problems are getting solved Problems are not solved since months ago. Some new features or pattern are required.

I dont know what has happened with this app , i hide my photos in this app n then i hide this app from my phone and whn i unhide this app and open then photos was not founding its saying error error.. Moreover photos was very very important... Cn u fix up my problem asap.. i will be so greatfull if u fix up my problem .. Thank You..

Shlt waste of time. Put a heap of pics into the app closed it to checked password was set straight back into it and all the pics gone. Blank icons appear where pics should be android when clicked one says file not found....... Very annoying. This app just cost me about 45 hours work

Pls don't ever install this.. I lost important files second time.. The app couldn't able to recover my files also.. The utter waste app in android..Even we don't update, they have to update atlease with a message that we will lost all hidden files if we don't update or buy ya original version.. Really frustrated much

Multiple complaints about people not being able to open the app after awhile. And how the developer doesn't reply.. Honestly, I've had the same issue!! All you need to do is click on the "read more" on the app and it'll give you a way to unlock it by downloading an apk. Jesus people.. Stop being such whiny babies.. It help you when you wanted to hide pics of your exes and indecent c**p right..

Im using stealth mode and you only be able to open the app by dialing *(your passcode). But it seems the last update affect the app and I cant open it anymore. Now my hidden pictures will be gone forever in the void. Thank you developer :(

Stole my all pics. After uninstalling i had tried to reinstall but not received the pics. Its useless apps. Every1 pls do not use this app at all. Can any 1 from admin team please reply how to recover file?????? I have deleted the app thrice and reinstalled but didnt received the lost files. pls do the needful

Storage my pics and lost all the pics and I tried to open then it say "No file found" Do not download. Idk where all those fake review came from.

I can't access any of the pictures that I've put in gallery lock. Evertime I launch the application, it launches a browser and the Android play Store and then closes. I can't get to anything in the app now. Looking for a different app now, recommend staying away from this one.

Had this app twice and worked great both times until ads popped up uncontrollably to the point i couldn't type in my password. Once i was able to get in the same thing happened trying to get into folders and couldn't access anything without the internet and play store opening. Eventually i was able to get around it and unhide my stuff. Uninstalled and never going back.

My phone decided it wanted to update for a few days. When it was done updating, gallery lock was uninstalled. So I reinstalled it back and ALL of my 300+ IMPORTANT pictures were gone. And I even tried resigning into my google accounts in the app to see if the pictures were backed up, and they weren't. So I need someone who is great at technology or someone from this app to help me restore my pictures because none of the ones from this app are resaved on the app or my phone, I need them. Please & thanks!

I recently noticed on this app there has been a lot of redirecting to other websites as soon as you log in... so I looked into how to fix it but nothing seemed to work ..so I emailed the company that created this app 1 week ago with no reply. I have lost all my pictures because I can't even log in to unhide them and back them up in my cloud...this app used to be the best but with no way to fix this problem, I had to again uninstall...I'm done.

Hides what I need. But it keeps trying to make me go to their website and say something about an iPhone. As soon as I open the app for the first 30 seconds or so it keeps trying to open up a website. No matter how many times I close it it just keeps popping back up. S6. 10/9/15 12/15/15 I noticed now if you don't completely back all the way out to the front page the app can be reopened without the password.

You really can't unhide, so put that in mind and everything is okay. Though I'd give you 5 stars if you fixed it. It is important. Edit: you actually can unhide, just not by pressing the unhide button. If you go to : data/ (not the Android/data, just data,I found it in the SD card, but IDK about you.) So Storage (whatever it is)/ data/.gallery lock/protected. The files will be .glk, rename and write .jpg or whatever the file was originally. Now the one big problem is fixed.

This was a decent app at one time. I can still use it and did back everything up within it, but it has ads that pop up when I first try to open it and enter a folder (definitely not clicking near the ads). 3 or 4 attempts later I get in with the occasional pop-up. If it was guaranteed to not have these issues in the paid version I would support you.

I hid some of my short movie clips but when I started editing it is not showing which video it is on the icon as it used to earlier... Instead it now just shows the same gallery lock icon for all videos please fix it... But if I add new video it shows which video it is and until only when I add other videos and it shows video icons for that video and stops showing for these earlier added videos... Please help

This app doesn't encrypt your hidden files, anyone can find them in the system files. If you want to (I believe you need root for this), navigate to the internal storage(storageemulated), then data.GalleryLockprotected and you can see .glk files with your photos' names. Copy these to another location and change the extension to .jpg and now you can see your photos again. This app will prevent people from blatantly seeing your hidden photos in your gallery but offers no real protection.

First time i used it, i thinked it's very useful. But, when i used it and i hide many picture and videos. Then one day i was clearing my unuseful file for sd card. Then i saw ila file is full empty for that i deleted it. Then when i gone this app then i saw all of my data are not found. All are very important photo and video. I lost all. All photo showing not found. Please help me

I love this app! It's so easy to move photos from your gallery to the secure app. And the feature to have the app icon not even show up on your screen is an extra layer of privacy. My only complaint is that oftentimes the ads obscure part of the images.

I turned on the app hiding option which makes the launch icon disappear and your suppose tobusebyour phone to open it but I forget how. Can someone please helo me find my app. This app works so good even I cant find it, LOL. Love it, gonna byy full version if I find my old version so I can save my pics.

I love how easy the app is to use. That being said, I have had multiple times where pics I have hidden just become unhidden. They still show up in this app, but they are visible in the gallery. I re-hide them and they are hidden for a few weeks or month and then out of the blue they are unhidden. Update...had to re-hide pics twice more. Sorry. Gotta try a different app.

I can see my pics are there but when I click on them it does nothing all my vacation pics from the last 3 years are just in limbo, I can't access them in any way and I'm extremely upset, I can't unhide them or move them, I just keep getting error message. 2 new updates and still can't access my vacation pics I'm mean come on this is ridiculous. This has happened twice don't download this app, I've sent them multiple emails with no response

This app tries to force you to install "perfect applock" everytime you open it. This could be avoided by hitting back instead of Ok but as of today the app just crashes instantly. If you use this app i strongly recommend you back your valuable files up and find a different one. I have officially lost all my private photos.

I like that it takes a "secret" picc of the person trying to get in the pics if they try a wrong password in too many times. LOVE that it keeps my pics safe. Only thing that "bugs" me is the fact there's ads... But I guess that's why they have gallery lock pro for a fee.

The stealth mode doesn't work after few days. When u dial the code it dials in dialer rather than opening the app.PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD. READ BELOW COMMENTS AS WELL. EVERYONE FACING SAME ISSUE. YOU WILL LOOSE IMPORTANT PICTURES.

Hey..are you facing password problem in stealth mode. Then....... Here is wonderful solution. All u need to do is, share any 1 image to gallerylock again, and then dial *plus passwd. It opens ;) cool girls/guys Kiran

I had saved my data in stealth mode.. now when I am dialing the password with * it does not lead me to my data and instead dials to the typed number.. I had lots of important pictures therein and now I do not know how to retrieve it... I also tried to look for a solution in the comments above but guess no one has bothered to answer it till now..!!.. how can they goof up this big!!! I just want my data back anyhow... X(..

I am using this app since 2 years it was working good. But last month i bought new cel phone samsung Galaxy on5 but now i am facing too much problem with photo and video hiding.. after hiding pics and video which I want to hide, but they are still visible in my Player and my Files..plz tell what shall i do now?????

Froze twice in five minutes. When I tried to unhide a file it froze and I lost the file permanently. The "add to hidden" selection list of folders isn't alphabetized and the cover photos are wrong. Filled to the brim with ads. Has some nice features like backing up files,I just couldn't stand using this app long enough to see if they worked.

It just disappeared from my phone. It's still installed on my phone but I can't find it where I can open the app. I had lots of pictures on there and i would uninstal it and then get it back but i can't because i have to deactivate the app before I can do that. Please fix this and I will give it 5 stars

I had some very important videos and pics hidden from people that are not supposed to reach .. but now even i cant reach it .. when i dail my password TO OPEN THE APP ITS DAILING THE PASSWORD.....!!!!!! It works better from past years... But now from few its didn't opening the stealth mode.. Whenever i try to open, it calls on that password... Please fix it guyz.. Except this issue,ur app is awesome.. Please fix it will give u 5 star

How could all d pictures that are stored in a lock folder b deleted??? This happens to me in a straight third time. Also frequent notifications stressing to upgrade for this n that version really terrible. Better nt to go for it!

No, the latest update did NOT fix the issue. I still can't access any of my files that were hidden.... So, now weeks later, many emails later and NO response from developers! I still have NO ACCESS to my files!

It worked for some time then suddenly the hidden files shows up in gallery. Although files are still showing up as hidden inside the application. Now am having 2 sets of files. One shows normally in gallery and one set inside the application

This app is very very Bad. I LOST MY IMPORTANT IMPORTENT PICS... AFTER HIDDEN ALL PICS CRUPTED... I CANT SEE MY PICS... N NOBODY GIVING REPLY OF MY COMPLAIN.. I used this app from 3years till yesterday. I restored my mobile then I lost all apps include this also.when I am using this app there is hide icon but now it shows purchase it 256.56 something. How can I get my old app for free n how can I get my data backup.
