Purchased, installed Premium versions of this app on two devices and the same sound leveling problems exist on both: low recording/playback while the teacher's voice is several volume steps higher. EDIT: inconsistent volume persists b+/ teacher and mic-recorded playback. Analysis of the audio files ML stores on-device shows they are optimised to AAC levels, e.g. 'fr_100010.mp3': MPEG ADTS, layer III, v2, 32 kbps, 22.05 kHz, Monaural whereas, substandard by comparison, the ML recorded audio on my SDcard 'myrecording.mp3': ISO Media, MPEG v4 system, 3GPP, @ 8000Hz, bitrate: 12kb, Mono. Please resolve this issue!

Great app, now over 500 flaschcards studied. I appreciate that there are many example sentences in it, so I always study those not only the actual words. SRS methodology really helps to keep flashcards in long term memory.

Just buy it! In the unlikely case you don't like it delete it right away and get a refund through Google Play. Granted, other flashcard apps like Memrise, Anki etc. are great, but this already has everything you need to start straight away. Another bonus is how quickly bugs are fixed once you email them (and not being daft and leaving a 1 star review).

I've been using MosaLingua for a year. It's a great tool for helping me learn vocabulary. I love that I can pick the level and cards I want to learn next. Even better, I've found out how to add my own flashcards. Now the random things my language partners teach me pop up as part of my studies and reviews! Buy the app. It's totally worth the price!

This seems to be a very well-thought-out application for learning language. I think it would be extremely helpful for someone starting out with no background. So far most of the stuff that I have come across has been very basic - although it I started to move along. I like it.

The content is good. I just wish the app looked better and had a better organized interface. The premium should include all the content, or a third version of the app should be made. It's frustrating to purchase an app to discover that you need to pay more to have all the content. At least it's not subscription based, that's the worse.

Makes learning French very straightforward. Tried memrise app but that wasn't as user friendly. This app was recommended to me buy someone who's used it and rated it. Very user friendly and I'm definitely picking up the language quicker than I thought I would!!!

TL;DR - It's great, definitely worth the $. _I use Anki and Memrise, but this is my favorite because you can just download it and start learning. No searching for decks etc. Everything is well organised, and only has the most used vocabulary so you can start speaking sooner. $8 might seem expensive for an app, however after using it for only a short period of time, I love it! Stop reading reviews and just try it!

I'm really impressed so far. I struggle a bit with listening and pronouncing without seeing the text first but the review cards are excellent.

I love the SRS method and the fact you can choose what you want to learn so you will always learn what is relevant to you. If they don't have the flashcards you want to learn, you can make them yourself! Next to flashcards, I love the dialogue option to hear some French in action and read all the study tips they give after each learning session. The premium version was fully worth my money.
