Ramazanın 27 nci gecesi, Kur’an’ın gökten yeryüzüne indirilmeğe başlandığına inanılan gecedir. O gece Kandil gecelerinden biridir. Müslümanlık inancına göre, Kadir gecesinde bir yıllık işler takdir edilir, meleklerle Cebrail o gece yer yüzüne inerler.
