Epileptic Detector

O projeto Epileptic Detector tem com objetivo realizar o monitoramento de usuários com Epilepsia 24 horas por dia, a fim de identificar possíveis crises epiléticas, desmaios ou quedas. Diante da ocorrência de um desses eventos, o app realizará chamadas telefônicas e enviará SMS contendo a localização de onde ocorreu a crise. Assim, os contatos registrados no aplicativo são alertados quase que instantaneamente, permitindo que a pessoa epilética possa receber os primeiros socorros no menor período de tempo. Caso o sistema, erroneamente, detecte uma crise epilética ou desmaio, o usuário tem alguns segundos para cancelar o envio de notificações.

O aplicativo está em fases de testes.

Before the occurrence of such event, the app will conduct phone calls and send SMS containing the location where the crisis occurred. Thus, the contacts registered in the application are alerted almost instantly, allowing the epileptic person can receive first aid in the shortest period of time. If the system mistakenly detect an epileptic crisis or fainting, you have a few seconds to cancel sending notifications.
