Great app for classical music lovers. And its very helpful for students of classical music. The ever expanding libraries usually has the songs that I am being taught in class. I am sure that the ones that aren't available will be added soon too! ☺

I was longing for such an app. Though it should have some theoritucal information for all the audio clips,like artist's under artist section and raaga info like around,avroh, pakad under raaga section

Its really amazing...it have a lots of collections of songs of various categories..people who love classical music will b loving this app fr sure..its really helpful for all classical singers who r still learning classical music...loving this app.

It's simply awesome it took me different musical world from which I didn't want return to this world but some collections should improve regarding Carnatic

An excellent app offering a fantastic collection of Indian classical music both, Hindustani and Carnatic from the very best artists!

The app is fantastic, No doubt. But its my humble request to saregama please add the instrument rabab to it.

Saregama being who they are have great content and all of it is being streamed. I feel i have already enjoyed music worth tens of thousands of rupees. Some improvements will make this service even more valuable. The biggest improvement required curating and organization of the content. Several songs are repeated and there is no mechanism to 'not show duplicates'. Also, there's no album view and that restricts how I listen to music. Lastly, Search needs to allow nested patterns like 'Marwa on Sitar'.

The app is very good in terms of the variety of artistes and collection. There have however been instances of incorrect mapping of artistes to the actual raga and performance. For instance, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi's Brindavani Sarang says one composition but plays another one. In another instance the artiste being played and what is mentioned in the text are completely different. From a technical perspective, the switching from WiFi to carrier 3G and vice versa is not good at all. Your app gives all sorts of messages from content not available to just hanging. Please get these corrections done ASAP.

Absolutely awesome. It is a nice feature to list film songs based on Raga. One drawback I found was some of the masterpieces by the artists like MSG, Balamurali , Radha Jayalakshmi , N Ramani, Pt Bhimsen Joshi are missing. Just found a bug. If you filter by a raga that is not available for an artist, the result should be an empty list, and not the entire original list. In this version , the function returns the input list Despite all this, I find this the best classical music app, very intuitive , easy to use interface and a great music player

It's good initiative n good collection...However after using it for nearly 6 7 months, I realise there r lots of bugs in the app. Biggest annoyance is when it simply losses track or gets shutdown when we connect on phone for call n not using the app temporary. We have start from the beginning n search the raga n start all over again. Second biggest issues is when the internet is temporary unavailable, app closes completely n we have to start over again from opening the app. Third issue is there r many raags which gets featured in theme of the day but not available in raag directory. Also we can't put fav n offline in theme of the day. Forth issue is duplication of raag names as well as artist names.

Knowing I am a Carnatic and fusion fan, I loved the videos notification you send. You can improve a little more, by providing a history feature, which can list songs I watched. Please share the Tillana video notification again, I am not able to search in videos!!

One of the most important thing which differentiates a great company from a pathetic one is after sales service. With pathetic and shoddy after sales service you can expect to have a deluge of communication going on for weeks bordering onto months before you can expect this company to come out with a solution for your problem. You will have to prove that you actually did made this purchase with multiple evidences till they have no other proof left to ask for before they actually make any effort to solve your issue of not being able to access the app. The worst experience I have had with online purchase ever. Even the small sellers on eBay provide better after sales service than this

The collection is great, the quality of each track is great too. There are a few problems, though. Quite a few times, the song stops after 3-4 minutes citing some error. Also, we need some Telugu songs as well. Why only Hindi and Tamil?

Would be nice if you give two major genere at top: Vocals and instrumental. Would help to those who doesn't enjoy vocals much. Its a quality app but service is slow.

Hey saregama, why don't you offer streaming services and downloads like your website in a separate app. Your pricing is absolutely fantastic.

Great app. Playback occasionally has some glitches, but it's more than made up by the collection and the curation

Lovely app with beautiful collections..but please try to fix some things like download option..and the trial week thing is very disappointing. Except that I really enjoyed the collections. Thank u saregama classical team..

I was searching for something of this kind from a long time...But still Classical Music on a whole is incomplete without Ghazal...Ghazal is an integral part of Classical Music...So if you could add Standard Ghazal Singers and Ghazals to this app,it would be great.Just an idea hope you accept.

Saregama classic is a great app. Lot of collection. But it's not a well designed app. No album wise classification and many drawbacks

Some apps define as they are classical...but usually they are bollywood swaras But This app includes total pure classical -folks , khyals , cheez even instrumental . All well known and remarkable persons' songs Even few Marathi classical songs... BUT it includes free trial of few days after which we have to pay Rs .99 monthly

Thank you Saregama for coming up with this app. Loved it. But make sure you album names and credits are correctly attributed to respective artists... Also give us collapsible navigation pan on left so that we can jump to other sections easily.

Love the song and artist collection. Music player of the app can be better with options like repeat,random and being able to create our own playlists. Few songs cannot be played, one such example is Shriman Narayana by Bombay Jayshri.
