1. Press the phone power button more than 5 times to request help.

App sends out an alert message (through text messaging, email and posts status alert on Facebook) that you need help, sends your location information, IMEI number of your phone, SIM number and also sends a link of google maps showing them the route to reach you.
Are you now wondering whom it may send the information to? Yes, there's a provision in this app to store 10 contacts of your near and dear ones that you would want to inform about your emergency situation.
Other important features:
1. SahAya can also send 'I'm Safe now' message to your contacts.
2. SahAya has an option change the number of times the power button has to be pressed

I installed this because it seemed to have the best features for what I wanted (and would be easily triggered with a wearable). Unfortunately, it randomly decided to send out a panic alert without me doing anything. This upset several of my loved ones. I've uninstalled this app. Good idea, but I can't have something send out panic alerts without prompting. Very bizzare.

Setting up a phone for a special needs adult, and wanted the bright red "Help!" button for situations that don't require 911, but are beyond her ability to manage. Interface was beautiful, easy to set up, and I was ready to be impressed. It's even password protected, so our family member won't accidentally erase the contact information or change settings. Perfect. Pressed the button to test it out. A few minutes later, both phones we had entered *did* get the first two alert messages.: One saying the phone's user needs help (not customizable), and a second with the phone's IMEI number and SIM card number. (Useful if, say, we had to get the FBI involved? I don't know.) What we did not get, on either recipient phone, was the link to the map location. Since the intended user is unlikely to be able to give her location accurately, especially under stress, this means we'd have to use a second location app to find her. Not the best plan. (She's on a Motorola Droid Ultra Maxx.) Tested next on my S4, and no text was sent at all after 20 minutes of wait time. Uninstalling on both.
