Swann DigiView

This app does live view pretty good, but it sucks at viewing the recordings. I can view the recordings fine from the swan touch screen recorder, but they move at like 1 frame per second on the app. Recordings are essentially unwatchable on the app. Also the live view defaults to low quality every time you leave the app. If you want HD or wide screen, you have to edit device and switch to HD every time you open the app. The hardware is good, buy the app sucks. Please update the app.

This app works good and installed the way it says. The camera button makes it crash. Added a third camera without any trouble. Over all good app for the money. Would like it to show all 4 cameras in screen like the monitor does.

Needs a lot of work, I am not getting notification anymore, before it just to record a f... fly now not even when a person get close I didn't buy it just for the show, don't record everything and some times I am not able to watch on my phone wherever was recorded earlier needs a lot work it doesn't work tired and sick of this app.

This app is slow in general but switching between cameras takes up way to much time! when watching the cam in landscape mode their is no option to switch to another channel, by the time you turn your phone and switch to another cam what ever you were trying to see is long gone! Would be nice to see all my cameras from the main screen! nothing is time stamped! The quality is very low! Everything looks pixalized and it freezes every 5 seconds! Could be a great app if swann put more effort into their product.

App needs lots of work.. Currently unable to delete recordings using the app, freezes app every single time a button to take a picture is pressed, switches to VGA mode automatically, no sound heard.. Etc... Overall very poorly designed & by a very lazy app developer or perhaps a noob who just learned how to develop apps.. Either way I am very disappointed! I certainly would have expected a much much better developed software, certainly not this crap, especially from a company such as SWANN!

Don't understand why this hasn't been updated. Everyone has same issues, with no fixes. Hard earned money spent on this system full of regrets.

Works perfect for me, just wish I could do a split screen, app is still great, needs some improving but I love it, only down side that drives me nuts, is I can only watch one camera at a time, I'd like to see all 4 at once like a split screen

App crash when taking snap shot. Also very slow to get connection going. Please improve this App. ! Samsung S8

Good concept BUT...... Video will freeze after 5 to 15 seconds. Audio will continue working.... Galaxy S5 Active

Infared doesnt work very well at night. Have to press buttons on screen several times before it does anything. Rarely can connect to device on app even if im connected to network at home. Freezes and closes app when trying to use screen shot button in app. Cant use playback on app because it freezes or runs at 0 - 5 fps. Doesnt always notify me on phone when it senses movement and when it does,cant even watch playback or by the time i finally get app to connect whatever was in the frame is gone.

Started off Ok with notifications. But now we get zero notifications on android and apple iphones. The events are still being recorded and stored just no notifications ? Please fix ..

It freezes a lot and it takes a long time to look at the cameras. I would have never bought swann if i knew it was this bad.

The app is glitch y the 7 in tablet freezes ND doesn't record motion and the ir is horrible kmodo is the way to go 99 dollars verses 375 for 2 cameras

I have sent multiple reports,still stops working lg g2 Verizon.Needs to be updated for kitkat users im thinking.

I would give it 5 stars if I could view my events on my phone. Otherwise, it's a great way to keep tabs on the house while I'm away. Good crisp clear picture.

The entire system sucks and the tech support is worsw and communication with tech support is the worst. The worst company Ive ever dealt with. The only thing ive hotten from them is what plug from wall are you using with camera and just reset system. I even gave them my phone number and told them when to reach me and no call bad thing is they asked for that info and said they would call.

I feel like these shiny new camera's were to throw me off the scent of amazingly horrible software! Why are there so many different apps? I've tried almost all of the Swann apps and all are junk!

I bought the kit and several extra cameras because the cams were on clearance. I tried to get the app on my LG smartphone with Android 4.4, but Play store said it wasn't compatible, so I bought a tablet with Android 5.0, and it still says it isn't compatible. I emailed tech support a week ago and still no response. What a horrible way to leave customers hanging after spending several hundred dollars. I will NOT recommend this company's products to anyone else. I will, as a matter of fact, tell everyone NOT to purchase from them. Thanks Swann.

I just bought cameras and when I downloaded the app I did everything the paper told me to do so I can view everything on my phone and its saying connection failed... why is this happening??? If I am unable to view things from my phone then I am going to return these cameras for cameras that will allow me to view my home when I am away...

Runs slow and no smooth frames on play back also no full screen even when the phone is on wide screen. Also would be great to delete recordings from app.

Cannot hear from my phone. The point was to be able to hear and see what's going on and it doesn't work .. what a waste of money . Very disappointed.

Can't figure out how to play back event

Cant even add a camera to view cause the app crashes every time I open, it!

Have few problems viewing live but event playback connection fails have checked dbl checked uninstalled reinstalled seem to be 99% of the time wanted to get 2 more cameras but thinking twice about whole system I live in a very remote area and really wanted to monitor on phone just home monitor works phone connection constantly fails

Will only work on Wi-Fi, so hardly works like it should – because it doesn't work trying to connect over non-Wi-Fi it never alerts to detections. Really needs work, but not updated I'm over a year. Very disappointing, especially given the strong Swann name.
