This app ensures that the Yoruba culture and tradition is kept from generation to generation. The app teaches users how to read, write and pronounce Yoruba Language.
The app also teaches exact pronunciation of translated language by relating the translated data to the actual meaning of the English data e.g. “light” can mean illumination and can also mean a not too heavy load. The app teaches the end user how to pronounce accurately this type of translations and distinguish one similarly pronounced words from another.
The app also uses English phrase translations to ensure accurate understanding of the Yoruba language.

I am appalled by the english translations of some words like chair for instance. The yoruba word for lamb is also not right; it should be omo aguntan not eran aguntan as the picture indicated. If you were referring to the meat then raw meat or stewed should be pictured. I am impressed that apps are available for the Yoruba language but you need to fix these errors.

I think the app would be very useful if only i can make payment for the full version. I have tried several times to buy the app so i can unlock it but there is always an error message of card declined if only one can pay through other means/method then i can at least have a better experience of this promising app. Thanks

In terms of learning to speak I don't think this will help much, its more of a dictionary but not a very good one even; many of the English definitions are not accurate or appropriate for the context of that word. There is audio definition.

This app simply illustrates Yoruba culture in great detail. The graphical illustrations also makes it simple to use by kids.

The developer concentrated on the money issue not the intrest of the learner. I regrate wasting my Data for the download. I will continue using my #LEARN YORUBA app. It is perfect. And am unistalling this right away

Rubbish. Its so stupid. I see it has replied to someone saying the 1st 4 are free. But have all you need anyway. So does that mean i shouldn't be able to greet someone, say "bawo ni" or "e kaasan"? Before knowing how to say "cat" or "dog" (the free ones) or "bathroom" eg. Also, the app keeps freezing. Not good at all. Very disappointed.

Something is definitely wrong with this app. I just downloaded it, I see wording in English however every time I click a word its telling me to download the latest version that you have to pay for btw, smh it doesn't work I dont want to upgrade so im guessing im not going to see how this really works.
