eMedsMate - Medicine Reminder

Very handy

The app has a simple interface that allows scheduling events precisely. There is no interval setting, but that is not a real problem. It just means a little additional scheduling work. Other apps I've checked out are not flexible on start times for meds exceptions. i.e. No meds while sleeping. Thus eMedsMate's interface works well. One drawback I found is that the program uses Notification Alerts vice Alarm Alerts. Thus if you turn off your ringer or have a program that silences your ringer, the Notifications are also silenced. You will obviously not hear the alert.

Great user interface, dosage can't be decimal, can't show if mg,or MCG. I have yet to find out how to delete a medication.

Looks like this could be a good app. Just missing a few things like not being able to record half dose or number of pills

A simple to use app for my daily medication scheduling and profiling. Good part of the app is I can mail details of my medication with results to my doc.

Simple, Clean easy to set reminder, also gives option of setting for different range, after taking pill I can record the side effects.

Great app. Is simple and easy to use. Like the compliance feature since on several occasions even after the reminder you tend to miss a med. Compliance ensures I do not miss it which is great.

Too much personal information is required, and used. Wish I could rate a 0.

Cant schedule per hour. Only sets reminder on set time and no intervals.

I have two issues with the app at the moment. The first is that you can not have meds that you take continuously. You must set an end date for the medicine. The second issue I have is that when you type in a medication, if it is a combination drug or one with a long name you can not see the entire drug name in portrait mode. This makes it difficult to pick the correct medicine.

The app is great so far but doesn't allow for dosages less than 1mg. I take a med that is 0.05mg and it will not allow a decimal point. Edit: I also cannot delete meds from the list.

Really helps streamline medications. Like the compliance and reminders as per schedule.

Can't edit or delete ur entries, can't input 1/2 doses or enter combination meds and you can't tell if you took ur meds or not, there's no check mark or anything 2 indicate otherwise. Definitely uninstalling this sorry app for what shld be simple.

Like the simplicity of the app. Better than most free apps that I have seen on play store.

However, can't add multiple mg amounts for medicines with multiple ingredients or quantity taken, both things a doctor would need to know in the email the app sends out. For example...Hydrocodone/apap 5/325 2 tablets prn

This is very simple to use and highly useful app to have and organize my medication schedule. It helps a lot to ensure that my next visit to doctor is more meaningful, and complete as I have all relevant data on my phone! Thanks

Horrible app

Nowhere in the description of this app does it mention that it shares your info, but if you go into the settings on the app, it basically states that the app is free because they sell the info about your age, weight, blood pressure, medicine side effects, etc to drug companies. I personally would like more info about where my info goes and what it is used for.

It is actually my best mate for my meds! I have to take meds 5 times daily and it is very likely that I forget any of the doses. Now there is something to always remind me of my medications. Being allergic to many medicines, emedsmate turns out to be an excellent app for me. After every medication, I get to record if i got any allergic reactions or side effects with that particular medincines. Moreover, I can record and track my sugar levels, BP and TSH. I now have complete control over my health check.

This app is so simple and easy to use! .. Setting reminders is very easy and hasselfree.

Like the UI and simple clean look. Does what it is meant to do. Like the fact there is a compliance screen in case I have forgotten the meds and helps recording any side effects. Email feature helps in mailing records to myself and my doc. I think I found an app that I can use for long!
