Phases of the Moon Pro

I love this app, unfortunately when I got my Samsung Note 8, it wasn't compatible. Oh I could put the live wallpaper up alright but there was no more switches to allow you to adjust the size of the Moon and the naming of the phase just below it. So consequently I have the moon at its smallest with the starry background moving behind it and no ability to title the particular phase the Moon is in at that moment. It's still tracks the phase but there is no way to access the settings for the live wallpaper on the Samsung Note 8. I do hope they come up with a fix for this real soon.

Downgrading my review from 5 stars to 1 star (should be zero but that's not an option). I used to love this app & use it all the time but now, when I click the icon to launch the app, all that comes up is a black screen with a menu bar on top. Changing settings doesn't help. And it doesn't matter if location services are off (like usual) or if I try turning it on in desperation. The drop down menu displays but not the big interactive moon. Very frustrating & disappointing since this was one of my favorite apps in the past. Original Review: Exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful graphics, interactive, & easy to use!

Best free moon phase app out there. Gives all the associated information required for star signs, astronomical and even historical searches. I went back to 1959 and found I was born under a dark moon. Cool. ????

This app is garbage now. Am so sick of apps requiring gps location "on" in order for the app to work. Don't waste your time with this company unless they allow for their customers once again to pick their location from a list.

I (almost) always use my device in horizontal mode. This performed well before, horizontally. Now, with the changes, it only displays correctly in vertical mode. Horizontal display causes images and text to overlap, and single words to use two lines. And zooming in on the moon to reveal details and info doesn't work at all horizontally, only vertically. I wish I didn't update it!

Note 3 phone. First rising/setting had red exclamation marks...then just the rise/set icon WITH NO TOME showing. Yes...my location is on. Dissatisfied with app now!!

I purchased the pro version a few years ago... all there is is the moon with no label on it . Used to give me all the Apollo landing sites crater names. I'd like a refund please. #moonprosuks.

App sucks now after recent update on Aug 4, 2017. What is up with these anonymous surveys? To keep the app free? But I paid for the Pro version!

Works very well. One little bug is for some reason is the live wallpaper shows the moon on the right side of my screen on my ZTE Warp 7. I think I found a similar bug on my Kyocera Hydro Icon with the free version of the app and found a fix for that issue, but I cannot remember it now.

What can I say if your like me an every other person on the planet the moon calls to you everyday give in an get this app

Why do i have to have my location turned on to see what time the moon sets and rises... isn't there a chance to set a permanent constant location? Cuz i cannot find it please help

I just updated the app... where's my live wallpaper??? Why can't I use it on my home screens now?? I purchased this years ago and I've been using it without fail... until now. I did not get a new phone. Samsung Note 5. PLEASE FIX NOW.

Great but on opening app only half a moon shows! Angle of brightness is incorrect too.

Do not like the update !!! Please remove the moon rise and moon set or at least make it an option. It now ruins the moon face screen !!

Horrible update, the resolution used to be excellent and zooming in looked beautiful. Now it's fuzzy low res.

Very precise and interactive with both future or passed dates. Used to display moon phase on the status bar, but not anymore. WHY?

Great app to follow the moon size and distance from the earth. If you are an amateur astronomer then this will keep you well informed.

It gives the info I need, and I like the widget, would be nice to add the %illuminated to the widget, but keep it clean :)

When exactly is the moon full? This app will tell you that and more... Like what sign the moon is in and what the percentage of illumination it has. You can look back to any date and know exactly how full the moon was and which astrological influence it was under. The free version was very easy to use for more everything I wanted to know but I also don't mind supporting the developer with a purchase.

I really like this app. I use it to teach my young son about the moon. ****The single thing that I would change would be the zodiac sign feature. I know they were changed...but I'd like the option to select between the old zodiac divisions and the new. As it stands, I can only shut that feature completely off. It's a minor thing but I REFUSE to think of myself as an Aries! LOL! ????

What happened to the real information like moon rise & set. % of illumination is still a available I need to know what time the 2 moon will rise & the % of illumination. Now with a new phone I went for the Pro version NOT HAPPY

I love the wallpaper and calendar, graphics are great. The problem is when the app is open. There's no exit button and back button doesn't close it, so it just stays open. I set the wallpaper and it works but ONLY until I have to force close the app. Then the wallpaper disappears and I have to reset it. Annoying!

Excellent app in most ways, but it has developed a few bugs lately. I cannot exit the app via the back button; instead I must press the square menu button and close it from there. Also, when moving from the monthly view back to Now, the moon's image is small and located in the upper left corner of the screen. I understand these issues are known and being worked.

Just installed and the first impression is that the app does what I wanted it to do ,but there are a few issues I hope get fixed: Back button does not close the app, live wallpaper does not appear to be installed and the share option crashes the app. Will just have to see if the developer

WTF!!?? I have been using this app w/out a problem then all off a sudden a few weeks after getting my new Samsung Galaxy7 it won't allow me to use it as a background, no widgets none of the background features I bought it for will work. Worse yet I have no idea as to why, what or how happened. I'm extremely disappointed to say the least. Until I can use it again as my background and all the other features and not just as an app I'm giving it 1 star.

I was happy with one i didnt pay for. Am struggling trying to work out how to get the extras. I cant work out where my lunar calender has gone. Mine had been replaced by plain old ordinary everyday calender with no moon cycle.

Not able to share with overlay info since buying. Free version worked fine prior to purchase, but hasn't since. Tested Asus, Z pro and Samsung 5. Developer is working to solve issues.

Back button doesn't work. Totally unintuitive gestures for sliding, zooming in and out, and changing time. I am not sure if these issues are phone specific. But surprised to see a 4.7 rating with all these issues.

Hey it's the same problem as a few other people were saying- I'd been using it fine for months as a live wallpaper and I had to do a factory reset on my phone and now I can't find a way to make it live wallpaper anymore. It just doesn't show up as an option when I go into my samsung wallpapers. Help?

It was working perfect until recently now it won't let me set it as the background anymore. It's on the menu to choose from but it won't set it as background. I feel so lost now help me plz!

This is the third time I've edited my review. I had erroneously believed, developers had taken away the ability to select given dates. Finally figured out can select year by tapping the year and other components of the date as well period while other programs are good this one is probably the best

9/9/16 Latest update no longer responds to the back button. It's a small thing but still irritating. 5 stars when fixed. 9/7/16 As an amateur astronomer, I use the app all the time. It will let you know when to plan star parties so that you can either avoid the moon or pick a date when the terminator is near an interesting object. It will even serve as a lunar atlas in a pinch. Great job! Thanks.

Was loving it until the last update, back button don't work and don't show day, time or illumination and I have the Pro app. Used to love it now I regret it going pro

I've used this for some time now and it is simply perfect. I love that you can move the Moon back and forth through different dates & then have it cycle to today's date. It has a Lunar Map which shows the Moons features as well as the placement of the Lunar landings. There are many other great features too. If you are interested in Lunar geography or just want to know the next time you're going to transform into a Werewolf, then get this app installed.

I use this app when planning camping trips to the Desolation Wilderness. I can find a weekend where there is a new moon and I can go shoot the Milky Way. I also use it to identify the areas of the moon I photograph through my telescope.
