I have been experiencing choppy calls for several weeks. I have followed all troubleshooting and nothing is fixing this issue. Only happens with the app, not desktop. Very frustrating when unable to receive calls out of office.

UPDATE: I want to thank Vonage for fixing the issue that I was going through before! That's why I changed the rating! OLD REVIEW: Ithought it was only me having the same damn problem! I have even called Vonage and they don't even know what is wrong! For all businesses owner this is not good I have missed a lot of calls! What can we do for them to fix this problem

The latest update has resulted in constant dropped calls. Once the other person picks up you get one of two things, a quick disconnect or a horrible connection. On the rare case you make a connection, the person won't be able to hear you or there is such static that you can't carry a conversation. This is not dependent on your carrier or Wifi strength either, this is solely a failure of the App.

I don't know what's going on. I'm getting calls on my cell phone but can't answer it. Says service is running but I'm unable to pick up the call. Very frustrating.

Not sure if it's Android 8.1 or something else. I was upgraded to 8.1 and it was working fine when the upgrade first installed but now suddenly the last two days my app isn't ringing and I'm missing a ton of calls when I'm mobile. This isn't the first time this has happened to me with this app. I don't know how I can keep using it for business when I can't get my calls. Update: 3/6 and this is still not working. I'm missing calls like crazy. The app doesn't ring my phone. Apparently nobody seems to care about fixing it. I can't keep running a business and miss calls like this. I'm going to be looking for something else.

Was working like a charm for a while. Loved it. But, since a few days, when I have updated my Google Pixel to Android 8.1.0 - And I think the app has updated too - I have been having some issues with receiving and making calls. Calls arent going through on to the mobile app as they come - instead, it simply shows up as missed calls later - Which is not good for my business. Also, i have to restart the app every once in a while when I have to make a call. Otherwise, when I dial a number, it simply says Calling and wont ring. Can you please assist me in this. Otherwise, I am a very satisfied customer.

This app is getting better. It must use a lot data because I can be on a call five minutes and then with no warning the callers voice slows down as if in slow motion.

The app is good except for the fact that I can't always work from home when I need to because I don't receive EVERY single phone call that I would in office. Its very frustrating when you get text messages from your boss asking why you aren't answering the calls, only to go in office and be the only one there.

I have been using this app for approximately 2 months without issue. Vonage service and integrations have performed as advertised. It has helped streamline clients access to me by offering one phone contact. Text feature is an added bonus. Highly recommend.

I am getting the missed calls alert only. It doesn't rings until the app is open. Whenever its in background I dont get any call - only missed call alert. Also not getting any verification SMS from Google & FB.

I access the web admin portal for our Vonage account from my mobile device, but clicking 'Try Now' for the 'new layout' just redirected me here. This app contains no functionality of administration of Vonage extensions and virtual receptionists... It only allows a user to adjust their own settings. Useless for my needs unfortunately. I'll have to keep using the desktop site on my mobile device until an admin based app is provided.

I gave up my desk IP Phone a while back since I travel and rarely work from my desk during business hours. I tried the Vonage Chrome extension, but it's not very good. Totally frustrated, I decided to try the Android app and I was pleasantly surprised. I use it on both my cell phone and tablet. It integrates with the device's contact list (something the Chrome extension could not do) and the call quality is quite acceptable. The only complaint I have is that the tablet version only displays in portrait mode. I set my tablet up like a desk phone, so having the UI switch to landscape would make it much easier to use in that configuration.

Used across all our company in various regions, we use it quite a bit. However the last update was bad. Call history is completely blank, cannot find who called on missed calls anymore, causes grief. Just shows a number of missed calls.

Vonage Team has been responsive to app reviews. Never Miss a Call is a powerful feature, but calls forwarded to a personal number need to be directed back to Vonage Voicemail if "Ignore" is pressed.

This app sucks. Can't use pictures on text. Having a horrible echo on the customers side. Why doesn't Vonage use their own product? They would know they suck if they did. I spent an hour on the phone with tech support. Then he said I should get a phone call back within 2 hours to have the pros fix the problem because it's unacceptable for it to not be usable. That was 2 days ago. Case #05151879

I use this for my business. It integrates good with my Zoho CRM software. Call quality's good. There's only a couple issues with it. When someone's calling you and you're already on the phone, it cuts the sound with the person you're talking with, until you select what you want to do with the incoming call. Cuts your customer off in mid sentence. They never even know you're gone. Second issue. Sometimes you can see an incoming call on your computer screen, but it never rings your phone, and you can't pick it up. You have to call them back....and hope the lady at their front desk, knows who called you. And that she'll put you through to them. Third issue. If someone's calling you, and you can't answer it, the app doesn't give you that choice. The only thing you can do, is Answer the call. Or turn your phone completely off. Really stinks when you're in public and can't stop a ringing phone.

Glitchy. But the company does continuously make updates and add features. Each round of updates seems be preceded by EXTREME battery consumption. Ie 10min call using up 30% of battery. Hope this new update fixes this round of draining
