Ritsema Groep is een gekwalificeerd bedrijf dat bestaat uit een transportbedrijf, handelsmaatschappij en havenbedrijf, en sinds kort ook een manege. Daarnaast heeft Ritsema Sierbestrating onder andere een uitgebreid assortiment sierbestrating en blokhutten.

Ideale ligging

Het transportbedrijf verzorgt op een veilige en bekwame wijze transport over weg en water. Dankzij de ideale ligging van het havenbedrijf aan het Eemskanaal kunnen hiervoor naast binnenschepen ook zeecoasters ingezet worden. Naast het transport zelf verzorgt Ritsema ook het laden en lossen en de op- en overslag op verschillende locaties. De totale op- en overslagcapaciteit is 130.000 vierkante meter. Daarnaast richt Ritsema zich op de in- en verkoop van grote restpartijen, onder andere uit faillissementen.

Ritsema Groep is ISO 9001 en GMP gecertificeerd. Een team van veertig toegewijde en gediplomeerde medewerkers staat 7 dagen per week, 24 uur per dag voor u klaar.

Groei

Het bedrijf groeide uit zijn vestje en kreeg toen de mogelijkheid om de huidige locatie aan de Bornholmstraat in Groningen te kopen van het gemeentelijk havenbedrijf. Hier vindt tegenwoordig de verkoop van alle producten plaats, waaronder de sierbestrating en andere tuinproducten. Maar ook een groot gedeelte van het transport en de op- en overslag wordt hier verzorgd. Maar de groei ging door.
