Kur’ân-ı Kerim

Kur’ân (Arapça: القرآن el-Kur'ân) veya Kuran-ı Kerim, İslâm dininin ana kitabıdır. İslam hukukunun (şeriat) oluşturulmasında hadis ile birlikte yorumlanır ve Müslümanlar ibadetlerinde ondan çeşitli bölümleri okurlar.

Müslümanlara göre, Kur'an âyetleri Allah tarafından Cebrail adındaki melek aracılığıyla İslam peygamberi Muhammed'e vahiyler halinde indirilen bir kutsal kitaptır.

Müslümanlar, Kur’ân, İncil, Tevrat ve Zebur'u Allah tarafından insanlara gönderilen kutsal kitaplar olarak tanımlarlar. Bu sebeple Kur'ân'da diğer kitaplardaki bazı anlatımların benzerlerinin olması doğal karşılanır.
