This app - and the company - are the worst. But you know what? Its a freaking necessity in Los Angeles. They have the entire apartment hunt thing monopolized. So here I am again, downloading an app I hate, from a company I hate even more, to find a place to live.

I find this app not useful and I feel that  the 50$ I paied for your "service" is completely not worth it. I even had some landlords asking me extra money to have you perform a credit check that I could easily do on my own for 5$. Basically this app is to unlock information about the housings listed and many times you don't even give complete information or no pictures at all. I fund often that information was incorrect after speaking with the landlords. There are also many offers that say "call for rent" and the price is not even showed! What service are they offering? I am extremely disappointed. I feel I wasted 50$. Better use trulia or Craigslist for free.

It's just like Craigslist except worse. At least there it's free and when you click on a listing you know it exists. 10% of the listings are legit, the others are buggy or want you to call for rent. I would not allow that obfuscation of price on an app supposedly created for convenience. Waste of time and money.

I wish I could leave a zero star rating. This is the worst app ever and paying for the listings is a complete waste of money. I can't believe the number of inaccuracies of details and prices & actual vaccancies.

Useless app. It says network error all the time and doesn't even allow you to log in. I have full Internet access on my device so that's not the problem. Need to fix this ASAP.

Very slow app. Compared to HotPads and Craigslist, it barely loads. I recommend HotPads instead. It takes a little more effort to find a place but WSR is not worth the hassle to use.

Garbage app. Nothing loads. Network error at all times. Programmed by Felix the Cat in 1994.

Search did not work, waste of money

When I moved 3 years ago, I couldn't have done it without WSR. Now, this app is useless, their customer support sucks, and I've had a million times better luck with HotPads, a free app. Do not waste your money on this.

It looks like the older version had problems but now it's working great! No it's at all - easy to search and get the information needed

Keeps saying network error but only happens with this app. Everything else about my phone is OK. Guessing it's an app problem.

I honestly only downloaded this app so I could rate it, which means I can leave a comment about how much of a fu*king entitled idiot Joseph is.

Has an exclude button for listings that does nothing, rentals still show in search. Also they reset so you have no indicator that you had previously viewed that listing. Hardly updates with new rentals. Does not allow satellite view in ap, so I have to look it up each time. List view doesn't allow for sort by newest. Not worth the money.

They suck , no help whatsoever. Save your money.

I'm moving to Seattle. I just got this app and they had NO rentals in Seattle. Every other app you can look any where this one you can only looking in California

Keeps crashing

I had to see for myself, and now I agree with most others on here - the app (especially), as well as the web service, are not worth the $. The app can't be called functional - it has errors everytime I start it up and attempt to use it. The web service is not what I had hoped for it to be... it culminates info that can be found for free on all of the other typical sites, but with the very rare 'Westside Rental only' listing. I've run into multiple listings that are no longer available, and of those most of the property managers have explained that they were unable to get WR to take down the ads for over a week. Just use the free sites, imo.

Sort by newest still places featured listings on top. Many listings with no photos

This app is so Not user friendly, and despite paying for the $49/mo. Plan, lacks many features that the free ones have. Mostly one low resolution pic and just plain Horrible and such a waste of time and money! I would not recommend these idiots even if they would pay you to get the app!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY :(

Doesn't show all the available apt on the map. Not user friendly

I paid for this because I used Westside Rentals 9 years ago. I shouldn't have bothered. There are a lot of websites and apps now that work better and are FREE!

Their website is terrible, the app won't log me in.. this is what I pay obscene amounts of money for?

crashes, waste of money just for the fact that when i call places its already rented or the price they advertise is false, its an unaccurate app, please dont waste ur time.

Consistently crashes and hard to load. Also had landlords try to change the price of there listings right before I was going to view

Both their app and website is not useful. Website- you have to pay to view their listings. App- monthly rental is a lie and they put all their listings in higher price. I think this is are all scam.

They want you to think they have a ton of listings but the truth is a lot of them have already been rented. Big waste of time... The listings are all free on other apps and don't cost $60...

Considering I paid $60 and after viewing I eventually found myself back on Hot Pads and Craigslist. Landlords don't contact you back. Its more a benefit for the landlord to be more selective and have things done for them. I don't see the benefit to a potential tenant. Done waste your $$$

Every listing fails to open and says "sorry listing not available". ??!

Every listing you click on says not available. So glad I paid for the subscription for this.

But now everything I click is not available. Convenience indeed. : /
