This app is not working properly at all. Very slow loading. Can't watch live TV or any on demand. It gets choppy! It gets to the point of totally freezing. Very very frustrating! What good is the app if it doesn't work? This all started with the update before the last one. You keep making new features but don't fix the issues. Who's in charge of the app? Xfinity or Google? Whom ever it is please fix it.

Comcast has done it again. They have alienated there customers. Previous versions worked with multiple devices and could be cast. No longer. No longer works with TV Streaming boxes (Fire TV, Apple TV, Smart TVs, etc...) Futhermore, you can't use any screen mirroring or casting apps. This is absolutely terrible. SHAME ON YOU COMCAST.

False advertising! They claim 'stream Live TV on any screen'. Except you can't do that, because casting is disabled. So how am I supposed to stream to my Chromecast enabled TV/Monitor? Comcast are notorious for over promising and under delivering at premium prices. I wish I had the option to get rid of them all together and pick a different provider.

Streaming works fine so long as the connection is good. It is almost rendered useless, however, by the inability to change the destination of downloaded videos. Mobile devices typically have very little on-board space, so we can buy SD cards to upgrade it, which is great. This app does not allow the user to save to the SD card, which makes offline portability impossible. Change this feature and it would be a great app.

Just like all things Xfinity Comcast, this app is a let down. No tv streaming options, can't watch away from home, horrid interface. Did you make this just to anger your customers?! At least allow us to login to channel provider apps like Comedy Central. What are we paying you for?

Wish there was an option for zero stars... when I login now, it takes me to my purchased section. Does not let me access anything else except purchases and downloads. There is something wrong. Comcast sucks... takes forever to get a hold of a rep... had technicians over way too many times. There are way to many problems with all of xfinity's services. Get it right xfinity!

Horrible... Casting is disabled, and it will not work with an Amazon Fire TV stick. Plus most Live TV channels will not work unless you are on your home WiFi network. It's basically useless. The fact that Comcast won't support the Amazon Fire TV stick and how they disable casting on your phone when you start the app are just examples of Comcast will do anything they can to make their customers miserable. Also they make fun of other providers for only allowing two users at a time on their remote viewing apps... xfinity does the same thing, they just mislead you in to believing that they allow more.

The shows that I have recorded jump around and we are unable to watch them with out interruptions or missing five to ten minutes because it jumps around. I have upgraded to a better phone and am still having the same issues...if not worse, so what is the point of the app of I still have to watch the recorded shows on my tv?

Can no longer log in to anyyyyy cable channels anymore with Comcast at A&E, TNT, Bravo apps. So came here & see I can watch those channels here BUT NO CHROMECAST support to watch on my TV screen?? Xfinity, are you going to offer this support? ? Otherwise I wonder if I should switch to YouTube TV. Looks as tho everyone is let down. Let me verify an answer, thank you.

I have Xfinity mobile S8, unlimited plan. A few days ago on my xfinity mobile phone that I'm paying for, xfinity stream quit working on cell data. And yes, cell data use is ON. this is a great app and have been using it for over a year, but poof! Not anymore, only time I CAN use it, is at the house on my xfinity WiFi.... well that sucks... I have uninstalled this app 3 times and nothing, please help or fix it or tell me what's up

Can't access my DVR, and can't access anything when not on home network!?! When I'm not on my home network is when I need it! What's the point? If I'm home I don't need to watch my phone, plus it doesn't let me watch my DVR programs even though that's supposedly what it's for, then to top it all off, I can use Xfinity TV Go and watch On Demand programming that I can't watch on this app! Again what's the point? Get it together Comcast!

This app can only be used while you are home for most channels. It's very confusing to call it an app when it is not functional while on a wifi network other than your home network. Vigorously looking for an alternative solution, which also includes switching service providers if offered by other providers.

Dumbest app ever! All I wanted to watch was the nfl football games while I'm at work with no tv. Interestingly enough they are available......in Spanish! Why do the Spanish speakers get 2 watch the games but I can't? Such discrimination.....its unreal! I pay good $$ for xfinity cable, this is B.S.

I really love the app... when it works properly, which I have to admit is most of the time, but some days is really hard to connect. I would also like for it to let us watch programs that are being recorded in real time and not wait for them to finish recording in order to appear in the app. I confess I use it every day.

Only allows account owner but no family members to have accounts for streaming. XFINITY customer service NEVER easy to get thru to, nor helpful. AVOID THIS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I can't watch tv because my new box is not working. They said download the app & stream your shows. Not so easy, nothing lasts more than 10 seconds & buffers, I've tried 3 different shows, BUFFERING is all I get. Useless!!!! Thanks for nothing Comcast!!

So frustrated with this app. Was working fine and then last night out of nowhere it completely stopped working. Now anything I try to view won't load and the screen stays on buffering. For as much money as I pay for Xfinity everything should work flawlessly.

It the best thing ever. You could see all your shows on your phone and your family members on the TV.since I have a total of 45 family member they always come to my house and just chill and I don't get to see what I want. But now I can.

I just downloaded the app and I went to watch law and order and I got a playback error if 106000 so I went to a different channel and got the SAME THING!!! whats the point of offering this app if it doesn't work. Please fix and I'll gladly give it 5 stars.

Hard to work through the menus and switch between favorites . Boots me out of archived programs. One minute streaming, hit a commercial and then doesn't recover. No way to recover. Streaming is poor - similar issues not experienced with Amazon Prime or Netflix on the same network. Overall unhappy. Great content, but can't watch with out frustration. One more reason to cut the cable and switch to alternative providers.

Xfinity Stream App and every single person associated with it are worthless. They are incapable, unwilling to fix issues as follow: The opening screen that feature variety of shows, movies available and recently watched' is constantly blank on my phone. I use the WIFI (piggybacking off my own Xfinity home service) on my phone while using App. The app constantly switches off, interupting what I watch. It tells me to use cellular data (it wants me to needlessly burn data). Even worse is Xfinity's total lack of responsiveness to user difficulties. They NEVER fix anything! Xfinity Stream is just like all other Xfinity/Comcast products. The worst EVER! Horrible.

It was better B4 you fixed it. I could go to the area what was on now and thete was a listing for movies shpwing within 2 hourd...It is gone...now I have to search through all shows for a movie when it's on TV and only see choices for this time not in next 2 hours. BAD MOVE made in update..PUT It BACK

Not easy to fig out how to simply type in a channel. For instance I have to scroll all the way to 300 to watch HBO Instead of just typing 3 0 0. Also the app always has to update and then I can open app. I would like to be able to just open app and have my channel lineup pop up.

You pride yourself on being an entertainment company, which means you should understand quality entertainment. Your video and audio are never in sync. Much of your programming to paying customers is disabled in app. This is a sad excuse for mobile entertainment. Fix it fast!

This app is poorly designed. No channel #'s relative to you cable box. Cannot search for a particular channel, nay, any channel! I was looking for the life tv feed for The Weather Channel, as stated by TWC, Not happening, couldn't find anything butt a canned episode of SOS - whatever that is. Would be much more useful if one could search for a CHANNEL!!!

Got the app mainly for the 'On Demand'. Which worked for a few weeks. Now it's gone....completely. Everything else still works but On Demand just disappeared. Comcast has no idea why either.

Update: Down to 1 star. Less if i could. Garbage and an absolute rip off. Barely any channels but the big problem is the screen going black every 5 minutes with "authorization error" "playback error" "no live...whatever". ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Give me a mf break. My device is the only one running on my 100mbps router and is only 1 ft from it. I mean w...t...f??? Now i see why this app is rated so....average. 100 mbps xfinity internet with 1 wifi user and nothing hardwired yet still disconnects and has "playback error"s all the time. Not to mention, half the listings are for "home viewing only". Including a lot that leave me baffled as to why thats the case. Will improve my rating as the app improves, as well. Hopefully sooner than later. I pay too much for a cover thats way better than the book itself.

Couldn't get any DVR recordings to play, downloads wouldn't download and every show that provided a watch button would not play. Utterly useless.

They are still lacking support for Chromecast and Android TV, the app complains when I hook up an HDMI to my shield tablet and will refuse to work untill I disconnect the HDMI cable, if I am on my in-home wifi let me at least use an HDMI cable! One star untill Chromecast support andor Android TV support are available!

It used to be a good app until they put all these restrictions on everything. They limit the channels when you are away from home and now you cant even stream them on your projector via Chromecast. What a waste.

The app is very slow. It glitches and stops a show/movie all the time. Its live shows are rarely live but rather a show from an hour or 2 prior. Of course considering how crappy everything that is xfinity, I didn't expect anything great from them.

I just recently joined ..Comcast for a 1 year contract. This app is utterly worthless. It freezes constantly. Totally worthless. I told Xfinity if they do not correct their service within 1 week I will cancel my contract . This is such a lie from them.
