About Delayed Lock RemoteLock Plugin
This plugin automatically locks your device when receiving a SMS* containing a defined keyword.
If you lost your phone, you can prevent others from accessing your private data by simply sending a SMS to your phone.
This is just a plugin and requires the "Delayed Lock" app version 2.0.8 or newer to run!!
To configure the plugin, open "Delayed Lock" and scroll down to the plugins section.
* the app just looks for SMS - no MMS, no Google Voice SMS, no Whatsapp or whatsoever

The plugin will not lock my device if my message contains a number for some reason. Example: tried to make the message LOCKFIND7 and it didn't work. Went back to the stock LOCKNOW and it did work. Fix this and you'll be back at 5 stars. Edit: The message has to say LOCKNOW for the plugin to work, regardless of what I put in. Gotta knock another star off. Looking forward to a fix

It's indispensable for me. I can't imagine not having basic security like a screen password if I lose my phone. I can't imagine keeping that security if I have to continuously unlock my screen at home either. This app solves that dilemma. Thanks!

I'm runnig a HTC Thunderbolt with ThunderShed 1.6. This app doesn't work half the time.

There are a slew of apps that can do this, but they tend to involve specific command, passwords, keywords, and so on. I'm not good at remembering stuff like that. (If j4velin is reading this, he'll not be surprised.) This plugin is nice in that it lets me send one simple command to my phone. Easy to remember, and since all it's doing is locking it, it's low risk.

Works on my DROIDX2 Verizon. Lock screen necessary when phone is lost. This reduces unnecessary locks when I'm using the phone.
