من المتوقع -عزيزي الدارس- بعد دراستك لهذا المقرر أن تكون قادرا على:
1. التعرف على المعاني التي وضعت الألفاظ لإفادتها من حيث عمومها وخصوصها وإطلاقها وتقييدها ومشتركها.
2. التمييز بين هذه الألفاظ من حيث درجة دلالتها على معانيها ظهوراً وخفاءً.
3. التعرف على كيفية دلالة الألفاظ على المعاني عبارة أو إشارة أو منطوقاً أو مفهوماً.
4. ذكر أنواع كل قسم من أقسام اللفظ .
