지구촌교회
우리 지구촌교회는 미국남침례교단 회원교회이며, 구약 39권과 신약 27권으로 이뤄진 66권의 성경을 하나님의 감동으로 오류 없이 기록된 책으로서 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하고, 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하여 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며, 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하는 진리의 말씀으로(딤후3:15-17) 믿고 실천하기 위해 힘쓰는 교회입니다.
사명
우리의 사명은 부활하여 살아 계시고 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 가지신 주 예수 그리스도의 명령에 따라 온 천하에 다니며 땅 끝까지 이르러 만민에게 복음을 전하여 모든 족속으로 주님의 제자를 삼는 일(마28:19-20;막16:15;행1:8)에 적극적으로 헌신하는 것입니다.

비전
우리의 비전은 예수 그리스도를 머리로 모시고, 교회의 성도 전체가 그의 몸의 지체를 이루어 한 마음과 한 뜻으로 협력해서 주께서 주신 교회 복음의 사명을 성취하는 것(빌1:27;2:1-11)입니다.

목표
우리의 비전 성취를 위한 목표는 우리 교회 자체 팀들과 부서들, 교단회원교회들, 북미선교부(NAMB)와 국제선교부(IMB)와 라이프웨이(LifeWay) 등 교단기관들과 협동하여 비전성취의 시너지 효과를 얻는 것입니다
전략
우리의 비전 목표를 달성하기 위한 전략은 먼저 교회 성도들을 말씀과 훈련으로 무장시켜서(엡4:12) , 하나님의 아들 예수 그리스도를 믿는 것과 아는 일에 하나가 되어 범사에 머리 되신 그리스도에게까지 성장하도록 격려하고(엡4:13-15), 각자가 받은 은사를 통해 봉사의 일을 하게 하며 그리스도의 몸을 세우게 하는 것(엡4:12,16)입니다. 동시에 우리 남침례교단 전체적인 협동선교(Cooperative Program)에 능동적으로 적극 동참하여 "예루살렘과 온 유대와 사마리아와 땅 끝까지 이르러 " 주 예수 그리스도의 증인이 되게(행1:8) 하는 것입니다.

우리가 우선순위에 두고 추구해 나가는 성경적 가치는 하나님의 부르심(빌3:13-14), 믿음의 성장(엡4:13-16), 교회의 질서(엡1:22-23;4:16), 동일한 주님이 주시는 여러 가지 직분(고전12:5-6;엡4:11), 한 성령이 주시는 다양한 은사(고전12:4;벧전4:10), 복음의 신앙을 위한 일치된 협력(빌1:27;엡4:16), 맡은 일과 작은 일에 죽도록 충성하는 헌신(마25:21,23;눅16:10;고전4:1-2;계2:10;딤후4:7-8), 복음전파를 통한 영혼구원과 제자삼기(마4:19;18:12-14;28:19-20;눅15:10;딤후4:2-5), 주님의 재림(계22:20)과 최후의 심판(계20:11-15)과 상급(계22:12)을 바라보는 믿음과 소망과 사랑(고전13:13;딤후4:7-8)입니다.
