Carnatic Raga

An incredible app. It has such an immense library of ragas. It is an amazing resource for a newbie like me. "Krishna opens his mouth and the whole universe is seen". My inexpressible gratitude goes to the developers. The next step I think it's to include a short lesson on the gamakas for each raga. ofcourse I can't even fathom the work involved in such an endeavour. Thank you very much.

Unbelievable, I come from a Lil bit background with piano etc. After getting this app I became a Carnatic Mozart. I love how you can come up with your own variant scale and it'll tell you other raags that's like it. Specially the voices and the instruments. I also love the ABC notation where it's so easy to understand.

This is the best app according to the musician and starters . But there must be a good soud other than female and they should add new ragas like yaman and acoustic and western sounds also be there. I hope you make changes in new update

Very informative with details of almost all ragas and very few errors. Small suggestion: do add some new ragas of possible

Quite an interesting app. But , looks like it's crashing every time I try to search an app and then crash!

I love the lessons part, practicing them is helping me open my throat & developing my vocal range. Just one suggestion, can you please arrange all the ragas in an alphabetical order. Thanks

Useful for those who play harmonium like me and have some basic music knowledge. May not be so useful for beginners

Nice, cute and very useful reference. Suggestion - See if the recitation of swaras in female voice could have continuity along them

Wow this was a great app i can learn abt many ragas n can knw details about many great artists n their achievements One request doo prolong lessons after alanmkara's geetas swara pallivi n all would love to listen all those

From the perspective of raagas , this is a versatile app. I play the violin at an amateur level and this app is proving to be quite helpful. It would be great, if the ragas also added the sthayi too with the aaroham and etc.

Just a beginner I am, wonderful using this app, no guru! , but this app is there for a passionate person like me with respect to Music, loved it, simply fantastic

Jany Ragas such as sarvakalamanjari,kamodhakatkadarni can be included.For ragas only arohana and avarohana were given.A brief raga alapana will be extremly useful in understanding the raga lakshana with appropriate gamakas unique to that raga

Why such apps are not brought to notice at first page of Play store of every Indian Android users? Such a good application no words to explain

It's an amazing app one small idea .while playing the raaga please make piano or any stringed instrument will be good instead of female voice change it to piano

Awesome app, in ancient days music is learnt freely for everyone . Now people charge huge amount and it become a business. Apps like this should be made for the betterment of human life.

Would love to see more advanced topics. May be identifying ragas with songs and stuff or examples of tracks in few languages will be a great add! Keep growing.

Small suggestion... It can support screen rotation.. so that keyboard layout can be used best... awesome app!!! Love it...

It crashes every time we switch it from another app

One of the best apps I have ever downloaded. Only wish they would refine it further in the swara searches! Otherwise five stars!

I was searching Raga 'PADI', and this app helped me to understand it's basics, A great medium as a ready reckoner, for laymen as well as experts

Good app. If you add some geethams for every ragas to understand that raga's nature, it will be very good.

Extremely good application...if possible can you have an​ option to make it as a ringtone... creating favourite is good, so we can keep on changing the ringtone

Good, but the sound is very feabil. If I want to know the raga by Swaras the name of the raga is not appearing.

Add a feature to play the sequence of swaras in a raga inputted by the user. Will help greatly to learn kritis in that raga. Love your app!

Pl add gitams to this app otherwise it is a good app beginners in Carnatic music and add voice culture tips also.

Excellent app, just needs a little refining. When you loop exercises etc, it does not keep time.

A great app, but would be better if included some geethams along with the arohana avarohana.
