Love it, I've rented cars three times already with them and it has all been super smooth. I signed up, registered and got verified in less than two hours. The cars are clean and I love the app remote control for the car instead of a conventional key. All three times have been smooth and super reasonably priced. I'm looking for excuses left and right to rent the Mini Cooper every time I get a chance. Waiting for the time when we can pick up cars from one SOCAR bay and drop it off at a different station since it would make more sense because I don't always want to do round trips. Thanks socar :)))

There are errors. Cant regiater even with facebook account. It will take you to sign up page and get verification for your phone. After you enter the code. Nothing will happen. Its too complicated to use this app.

First of all, it asks for way too many permissions to do what it does and there are no explanations either in the info section on why they need the permissions. I don't know the app and the people behind it to be giving it that much power. Additionally, it asks to update as soon as you launch it. What is it installing again? Scary piece of work.

Honestly, the app keeps crash when it starts. I need to restart to use the app. The magic is in the app, phone can unlock car? Wow, i impressed. I think this could be the revolutionary and could kill the conventional rental car. Just keep it up the great work.

Apps unable to process the registration, after verification key was inputted and verified by the apps, hitting on the next page leads me to the abyss. Watching the donut spinning just to return back to the verification page was rrally entertainin. I would like to name this donut the ring of death. But good idea guys - another alternative in this sharing economy. (Need to improve the apps - till then I'll just stick to grab)

Why I can't register my driving license? Attempted so many times to save photo with IC card but also FAILED! I didnt expect this kind of issue would happen. Please, dont launch the app if simple thing like this could give users nothing but troubles.

App works well to produce errors consistently. Tried 4-5 times to register already and every time something bound to happen - the date/month/year dial simply have a mind on its own. Error in receiving SMS and if you get past all that, the next button will lead to "dead end" error. SoCar, why don't you release the app when you are ready and not make us users your beta testers?

Please allow those who are 21 in their birthday year to register because it is a painful wait for me and my friends especially the birthday is another 8 months from now.

The onboarding journey is quite clunky and prone to error. As a foreigner, I really needed a car on short notice. After several attempts and registering my photo and licence, I just gave up. Customer User Experience needs improving. Great concept. Good luck with post-beta phase!!

Socar is definitely awesome! An alternative to renting a car, just tap, unlock and drive.. Don't have to wait for car replacement, courtesy car. Brilliant idea! Thanks Socar for making life much easier!

This app is ridiculous - don't even try signing up. They trick us into signing up at an event, promising us gifts worth above RM100 (which was a good carrot for a sign up tbh) and instead I got a gift that was a sample (which has no value). I was slightly annoyed but didn't get pissed until I realised I can't even delete my info from their system as they continue to spam me with SMSes. I might forgive you if you have given me the option to remove my data but I wouldn't trust anything from the producers of this app anymore.

Beware. Once you sign up you have no option to delete your account. That's your driver's license and photo. And they constantly spam you with SMS. Constantly. Tried contacting customer service, got no response.

This apps is rubbish. Why should I rent a car to go shopping when Grab or Uber can fetch and send passengers home? The mktg event lied and omitted truth to get people to sign up. Do not upload your picture, driving licence and ID online to just any apps guys. It is not safe.

Strongly no recommend to install it.Too much step for registration, and need too much personal detail. I am just wannt to have a look but it required too much personal details only can go in.
