Motion Photo Sharer for S7

Nice little app. Not needed on the Note 7: when you click share the system will prompt you if you want to share the video portion or the image. If you choose Video, the built in system will create the MP4 file for you in the same dir. Still Motion Photo Sharer does GIF too. It would be nice if you could also give an option to extract the image file (strip the video).

It does not save the whole thing. Only the 1st part. But not the last part of the motion picture. My camera was doing that already. I got this app, in the hope of being able to save the whole thing

This is a great little app that makes it very easy to save movies & GIFs from Samsung motion photos. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a Samsung phone that supports Motion Photo.

Pretty good. But can you add the option to cut some of the video before turning it to a gif? For example I only want to turn the first 2 seconds into a gif

This needs to be updated as it does not currently work with the s7 any longer.

My note 5 does animated photos but i cannot share them with this app, was wondering if you might have a solution to this?

It's nice that it keys is share in a gif format now but these phones have stunning cameras and the gifs don't reflect that.

Does exactly what it says. It also allows converting several motion photos in one go.

It works ... but I had problems sharing it to various sites (maybe my poor internet connection). It went to Flickr OK but since the video quality is not HD it looks very poor there (and they reduce quality anyway when uploading from a phone). It would be better if this could save the video to an album on your phone to then be checked out and shared in the usual way. OK it works fine now using Solid Explorer apk. Thanks for a useful apk. Thank you for continuing upgrade and improvements..

Great concept but why does it have to degrade the photo quality when generating GIF is beyond me.

Not bad for converting Motion Photos to MP4, but it'd be AMAZING if it also converted to GIF which is easier to share across all social networks and messaging apps. PLEASE ADD THIS! <3

Amazing! It just works. It wasn't obvious to me where it saved the file but once I figured it out I was a happy camper.

Excellent app. Does exactly what it says on the label. There is further development opportunity of course, like allowing to convert to GIF, which would make it even better but it's very useful as it is. I think Samsung should hire the developer and get him to work on this in-house because these features should already been incorporated in the Samsung Gallery app. Great job Adam.

I'm Goofwear From XDA. I can verify that this app is working on GS7 Edge and works as described in the information section. If possible it would be a nice feature to have it extract image and video locally to sdcard or another folder.

Only sharing as jpeg photo. Not as video or gif. Don't waste your time installing.
