About OpenTreeMap
OpenTreeMap enables individuals, governments, neighborhood organizations, and other groups to collaborate in mapping and exploring the urban forest. Using the OpenTreeMap mobile app, community members can view tree maps created as part of the OpenTreeMap subscription system and then search for trees or add tree information to those maps. By working together, we can create a map of the urban forest and explore the many environmental and economic benefits provided by the trees in our communities.

My kids and I spent a fun hour mapping trees. The Hybrid view is especially cool. Note! I thought it was letting me take multiple photos of the trees, but apparently it only saves the last one? I also find it a bit frustrating that when you click to go to you current position it zooms you out to city level rather than all the way in. Then you have to zoom in manually so you can actually map the tree.

The new Android app is a great way to access OpenTreeMap databases and edit data about street trees.

There's supposed to be filters so you can chose to show fruit bearing trees only and it doesn't have that option. Junk app.
