8x8 Virtual Office

Needs two features - 1) Android Auto Support, 2) Ability to block numbers easily - seeing uptick in spam/fraudulent calls.

Half the time calls won't ring but go straight to voicemail. Call quality is decent

Tried a previous version and could never reliably place or receive calls. So I deleted it. Co workers said that it had improved some, so I tried again. This app is awful. Connected via full strength Wi-Fi and still could not reliably receive our place calls.

Great in Theory Constantly getting "message failed... cannot connect to server" kind of destroys the utility of the app & service. IF it was reliable, it would be awesome. Taking my "work phone" with me in my personal cell is fantastic. But the messaging system is HORRIBLE.

Just upgraded and now all my deleted IMs came back. Selected them and deleted. App crashed. Same story. Buggy, buggy, and buggy. App is really useless for me and I'm the one that's supposed to be promoting and supporting this for our enterprise.

Messaging service is pathetic. i cannot connect to messaging service and cannot receive any in coming message on mobile app.

Using pixel phone. Haven't ran into a single issue. So far so good. Happy with the service

Every update seems to break something new. While I can receive and make calls I cannot see call list. I see caller ID when call are incoming most of the time however my last call in the call log is from August 17. Same with Voicemail. It is not a great app if you are relying on consistency and being out of the office.

8x8 is great when it works but the technical support is HORRIBLE! My app stopped working properly two weeks ago. After an app re-install didn't work they told me the only solution was to use a different phone!!!??

Sucks. A business phone app CANNOT be so buggy. Don't want to repeat what others have written. Same problems.

The app was functioning well for quite a bit but one of the last updates broke it again...

Very nice interface. But why WhatsApp has a better voice quality than this app??

New version just won't load or crashes

The latest update broke the ability to change the Call Forwarding phone number. Every time I enter a new number it reverts back with no change.

I have given up getting it to work on my Pixel/Oreo phone☹️. It either crashes when I get a call or doesn't ring at all. It just tells me I've missed a call. Rebooting helps for a while but then it breaks again.

Won't stay open so when I'm away from my desk I have to rely on call forwarding to get my calls. SMS's don't show up either because the app constantly shuts itself down. Desktop version works fine. Fix the app from closing and you'd have a happy customer. May look into a new VoIP provider this fall because I bought 8x8 for it's app capabilities.

Stops working randomly, will show that someone is calling you but won't let you answer, terrible spotty phone quality, won't let you log back in and you have to get your administrator, etc.

You guys need to have an administrative app, so when my people are having problems, I can help on the road, on the fly.

I use this app sometimes for work. I have logged out and I am STILL GETTING CALLS. I have uninstalled the app and cleared the caches... Still getting calls. Extremely irritating.

The latest version has issues connecting and no longer rings the phone when locked. I have missed many calls due to the new version.

The app is constantly breaking the phone's Bluetooth connection to other devices. Please fix asap!

Ever since latest update app has been nothing but problems for me. Icon does not remain in the status bar and app disappears from notification center, leaving me with no idea of whether or not I'm on or off-line. Not to mention, it goes offline randomly for no apparent reason without warning. I rely on this app to continue taking business calls when I'm away from the office. This has been nothing but headaches ever since the update and the support has been terrible. Will be switching soon if not fixed!

It looks nice but does not work very well. I have it set to receive all notifications but will only get one that says that I have "0 voicemails" from a certain number. It doesn't show that I received any calls at all. I'm going to try to reinstall it to see if that helps. I hope this gets fixed.

Ever since this app was updated, I have had constant crashing issues. After the first crash, it will continuously crash and never successfully open. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, the app works for an unknown oeriod, which can be as little as 5 minutes, before the crashing starts again.

Needs a 'Log out of call queue' button. Terrible app on the Google Pixel XL, it constantly puts your current calls on hold if you have a call come through on your phone even though you haven't accepted the call. Also constant general issues with quality of calls, our customers can't hear us most of the time and admin settings really buggy and not user friendly. The support from 8x8 is not helpful as all they say is it is down to the developers, as if it's not their own app or even able to escalate how unhappy their customers are with all the issues that we are facing.

Failed update does not support saving call forwarding to External numbers. In addition, there are other glitches that cause a massive problem to busy businesses like ours that have hundreds of calls a day. Terrible for existing users who may rely on being able to forward calls...wont let you call forward and save to the settings correctly. Support is limited to US software developers as no control over bug fixing the app in UK.

The new interface looks good, it's been smooth navigating through the application. The latest update fixed some issues i had with voicemail and status updates. So far so good!

The new app stops playing the voicemail when my screen goes dark, the old app did not do this. I run a maintenance line off this system and it's hard to type and keep your phone awake.
