This app launches Android built-in Quick Settings configuration window (if present). This panel enables configuration of hardware keyboard shortcut combinations (Search + letter, for example Search + G = GMail, etc).
If the configuration window is not present, the app does nothing.
!! PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS APP DOES NOTHING IF YOU HAVE NO HARDWARE KEYBOARD (BT/USB, etc) AND WILL NOT LAUNCH ANYTHING IF YOUR ANDROID SYSTEM HAS NO QUICKLAUNCH SETTINGS PANEL !!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I just got a new Verizon Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II with the Jelly Bean update. Apparently, starting with ICS, Android removed easy access to the Quick Launch keyboard shortcuts that all previous versions had. Now they only pre-load a few shortcuts with no editing options. This simple utility restores access. For shortcuts (like DirectDial), press the menu button after selecting a letter/number. It even restores the Search+R function that older versions blocked!

Perfect!!! Only one thing though, can you make the "Search Button" changeable??? So we can use "enter+B" for example???
