Ayquina pueblito al interior de Calama que alberga el mágico rito de la Fiesta de La Virgen Guadalupe de Ayquina en la cual por medio de el “taqui”, baile y canto andino, celebran a su patrona de salud y fortuna. El baile ha sido por siglos el acto ritual por el cual los pueblos se comunican con las divinidades, desde su comienzo como sociedades andinas pasando por los incas hasta llegar al día de hoy de las comparsas religiosas cristianas. A través de su danza los bailes religiosos tienen una conexión con su tierra, viviendo a su modo la chilenidad. De este modo podemos decir que estas manifestaciones folclóricas son inmensamente enriquecedoras para la identidad cultural de Chile.
