What a dreadful app this has become. Sort it out now I need to buy a car

Good place to browse what's out there. I like that you can flag favourites in the app. AutoTrader was always the way to go back in the 'paper' days and it's my go to in the smartphone age.

Does the job, but filters are a bit rigid as you can only select one value from a category at a time, IE: I can search for petrol and hybrid Volkswagen at the same time. You need to search on just petrol and then just hybrid

Won't let me sign in with my email and password telling me invalid credentials,try to sign up then it tells me email and password already in use.I tried changing the password and it won't let me...????

Broken update. Leave well enough alone.

Great app, would be better if the phone's built-in sat nav could be selected instead of Google maps.

Well, app itself is really good howeverI tried to look up the car today which I saved earlier on my other device. Autotrader is not kind of an app that you remember the password too. I failed to log in three times and app has blocked me for 24 hours! 24H before next try?! Joke

Not a bad app but I can't edit my advert. I just keep getting a blank screen so I've been using the website route. Pretty disappointing considering it cost a lot of money to advertise in the first place.

Unable to search anything; I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but always there is a 'system server error'. Shame as i used this app 6 months ago and it was brilliant. Not anymore.

App should not autostart and work automatically in the background. There's no need for that! Application starts itself even after manual closure of the process. No active options to control this behaviour. Enough! Push notifications i never agreed for and all options off! Goodbye..

Update on my 3 star review... I find that as long as I put my postcode in, it's fine but not accurate. Adds quite a few miles extra, not just allowing for how large my area is. For some reason I can't get the app to recognise Current Location. It still thinks I'm in Devon. I might have to move there. ???? I still think this app is great.

Displays out of date results, e.g. run the same saved search on the app & then the website. App will show cars that are already sold. Waste of time.

Brilliant app. But the GPS location and distance needs sorting. For example I saw car what was 62 miles where I live. Clicked on the map it south London. So really 262 miles away shame. Almost perfect

Can't edit adverts on android, just get blank screen, have to use a pc. Emailed AutoTrader to inform them, they suggested uninstalling the app and reinstalling it again......yeah like I didn't already think of that. Same outcome anyway and other advertisers leaving feedback of same issue. AutoTrader your entire business relies on people paying to advertise, please have the courtesy to listen when they take extra time and effort to notify you of issues, that they shouldn't have to.

Great app! Just one suggestion - save the sorting selection. It's annoying have to sort again for each search.

Option to select model, price range etc are disabled in the basic version. Why would I bother with this over the web page?! All the options are enabled on the web with no login or fees. Plus the web page uses less memory

Poor. Often fails to load saved info, such as my car that I am selling! Many other small bugs. Mediocre at best.

Search function for cars always errors since last update. Was great, now USELESS. Uninstalling

The new update has put the saved cars and bikes together which is kinda stupid but other than that its a good app. It now has more filtering which is good.

I have ubeen using Autotrader since 1998 and it's got better and better. Great features, I love it. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic app and great for killing time, only thing that could be improved is reducing the number of ads that are 'looking to buy', and not actually selling!

I'm giving it a 3 star because I have to constantly reset it all the time which is a bloody pain, can you pleas sort it out so we don't have to reset it all the time, I preferred the old app!.

What have they done to this app? Forget looking for a SPECIFIC model because it only takes you to a MAKE if that model under the dealer section! Waste of my time, deleted it.

Really? I have to reset my search each time I want to change a criteria because it's lame? This is not what you'd expect from a pro app.

Now with Cat C and D searching. Really great for understanding the value of the price. All the specs, easy to hand. Great app.

Searches limited by what is available, which means you can't set up effective saved searches or alerts as the full criteria isn't always available.

Used to be a really good ap...constantly comes up now "no internet" ...dont have any problems with any other site , stop using this app now cause of constant unable to search for a car...someones head needs to roll who's in charge of this.

Do not like the new updated app it worked perfectly fine before, when you open the app up now you have reset your search and start again you even have to fill in your postcode again

Conflict with FB and Gmail. Hanging and unable to reset password.... Not even getting to the site should be zero stars

Great ,only fault is the distance is measured in straight lines from your postcode, and the adverts do not state the location . Eg Chatham to Southend is 42 miles not 14 (across the water)

I hate new update take ages to load. It like waiting for bus.xx
