A nicely designed app but unfortunately almost useless for tracking live results because of constant refreshes that cause the display to jump back to the top of the page. Hope it gets fixed before the next election. Also - a prominent indication of the percentage of votes that interim results are based on would be nice.

This app works perfectly on my Note 4 except the refresh is annoying. It reverts to top of page after refresh even though I am reading results at the bottom. Have to go down now and then. Please fix or enable option to switch off auto refresh and use manual refresh.

Was working great until about 2 hours ago. Now just blank with "well this is embarrassing" notice. The iec app isn't much better. Sticking to the website...which also is struggling you load.hahah Murphys law

Useless. Doesn't refresh, just hangs and hangs. Doesn't update at all. I get the notifications, but selecting those notifications takes you to the app which then promptly does nothing. On my phone at least (android 5.0.1) I won't waste more of my time time, I'll rather just use the website

This app is great if not for a few very frustrating bugs. The maps only show in portrait view, if I turn my tablet to landscape they disappear, but most frustrating is the fact that it often stops updating making it useless.

Banner messages do not go into the app so you loose the message and cannot read further. It keeps refreshing and goes back to start. This app needs alot of work.

If it was... the first thing that would have been noticed is how the automatic refreshing of data destroys the user experience. Why is this even required, if the reload/refresh button is on g the same screen?

Wards have no names, only numbers so maps are useless. Results scroll too fast at top. Not a helpful app at all!

Never showing actual up to date numbers and always doing something opposite to what you clicked on. Also always refreshing losing your spot.

It works on my android phone. Has all the news, count down and we shall see if the live results work after voting ends

I infact give it no star as it doesnt deserve any. This poor app never opens even after trying to more than 20 times. Fix ur stuff or stuff it

Total crap. Start reading and it refreshes. Same thinking as news24 which sucks worse .

I really appreciate the application, it is doing a wonderful job to keep us informed about election results n all matters related to elections.I also appreciate the way how South Africans are participating via comments and cartoons that are being sent over.They carry a huge message especially to our arrogant leaders who does not listen to the people. " Be nice to people on your way up becoz you will also meet them on your way down".Thanx S.Africans.

Totally useless. Keeps on shutting down. Expected a better effort on an occation like another democratic election.

I'm really interested in the news, but it keeps telling uh oh, this is embarrassing. Please fix!

Working well so far - so quick to get accurate voter info with my ID so I expect to get proper updates tomorrow

Terrible controls... for instance the arrows on the live page to cycle through metros are far to small, making you click on the metro instead of going to the next one. Overly simplistic... Doesn't give anywhere near as much info as the site does, not even % of votes counted. The country map doesn't load half the time. Overall a waste of time.

After opting out of all notifications, I get more notifications than ever. This is a violation of Google's terms and conditions.

Refreshes constantly to top of page and lists ward numbers not names.

Please remove the auto scrolling from live results ! Trying to read the figures and then it scrolls. WTF !

Keeps telling me it can't load that map.

ANC leading with 103 out of 72 districts. Ok... edit: also, when scrolling down while on a area's map to see which municipalities got which votes, while scrolling down it suddenly jumps up again.

Worked on the first time. Never worked again. Sucks!

It works ok but what's the use of showing results when the percentage of votes counted does not appear anywhere? Use this app only after the election results are final.

Useless in the extreme, jumps around and changes, leaving you frustrated.
