Three features that help beginners: undo, highlighting a selected piece's possible moves, and offering a mode where pieces are labelled with western-chess-style pictograms instead of Chinese characters. An optional in-app purchase removes ads. If you have a stylus (like on a Galaxy Note device), this app even uses stylus hover to preview possible moves of each piece.

A really nice app but the scoring system for Chinese chess can be improved to better indicate players' abilities such as to show players' total number of wins and losses rather than just a score.
