Good morning bakers! Have you ever wanted to join in the big cake making game? My name is Mrs Green and I own a little bakery in London which is very close to Carnaby Street. As we have a delicious selection of cakes we always have customers bustling in and out to buy bakery treats.

Disaster has struck today though! It’s Friday morning and I’ve just received 3 orders for birthday cake,wedding cakes and also for valentines day cake which are needed by tomorrow! I’ve already got all my staff helping out but your extra hands could really make a difference. Can you help me?

First I need you to pour out all the ingredients we need in mycake factory. For this you’ll need to mix together the flour, sugar, eggs, baking powder and milk (oh and don’t forget the oil), and pour the batter in a tray. Be careful with this because itisn’t just a cake making game, we need to make sure the batter is perfectly smooth before it can go in the oven. If you do that well I’ll give you the most important duty of all – placing the trays in the oven and making sure the cakes don’t burn!

When they’re cooked I need you to show me your artistic skills! Choose from 8 types of icing, seventeen types of candy, and add colourful wafers to decorate your cake and make sure that it looks perfect for a wedding! It’s an important job but you’ll really realize how fun your caking making can become! Afterwards all you need to do is choose the right candles.
