Marvel Puzzle Quest

I loved Puzzle Quest on Xbox Live and have desperately searched for a phone version. I am so happy to find this. Game play is great. Can't stop playing. With the updates and tournaments it is much easier to get covers without spending a lot of money. Money definitely helps, but you can still do well without. Use your HP to buy cover space. That is the best investment for this game.

The game is really fun. You collect comic covers, which are heroes/powers, to battle in a match 3 style game. It's great for a Marvel fan like me. The only down side is the high price to expand your roster. You can earn hero points in game to expand the roster but the price climbs higher, making it impossible to collect new covers without spending real money. This issue is strange because it prevents you from collecting more, even though the idea is to collect more. The price to expand should be a lot lower

I enjoy this game. At first I was only playing to try to win Captain America Peggy Carter. I thought I'd stop after winning her but I still play it all the time. I've been playing for about a year now almost daily. I love they have added characters from Agents of SHIELD like Quake (Daisy Johnson) and Phil Coulson. Absolutely love the fact that they have Peggy Carter in the game.

A fantastic way to enjoy your day! In my opinion, I was kinda worried whether or not this game was going to be the same game as the other one back in 2012, but now I know that this game is very fun. My only issue is the leveling up system. Now, in order for your character to level a tile and it's effect, you must remove another power making it lowering than the others. I'm just wondering if any superhero/villian can even max out? Also great job on getting the community together on valentine's day! I'm expecting a great event in the fall. 5/5 stars!

Keeps getting better but needs more villains! Squadron Supreme, Wrecking Crew, Red Skull. Where are they?But be prepared to spend money if you want quick results. Grinders will still find this game enjoyable. New ranking system was a welcome addition. Deadpools daily keeps getting better with more oppertunities to earn a better roster.

BEST MOBILE 3-MATCHING PUZZLE!!! I just have a few suggestions. Can you guys Please add Gambit and Rogue(From X-men) to the game's roaster. Can we trade/Exchange the Iso-8(the purple crystals) for gold coins, command points or sumthing then just only using the to level up are heros/villains. And can have the V.I.P. more permanent instead of paying $9.99 for 28 days then have to renew it?

To add more Characters to your big to add Roster you have to pay big $$$. But recent updates keep introducing new characters that you have to pay to add. Other than that...Good job on the recent features. Issue with paying a ton of $$$ is STILL a MAJOR issue!!! PLEASE ADDRESS I've been playing for 3 years and this is the games DOWNFALL.. AGAIN. PLEASE LOWER THE COST OF GOLD TO ADD A CHARACTER SPACE!!! #whywontyouaddressthismatter!!!!

Love the game alot. Any time i get a new phone i download the game. Only issue in having is im no longer able to purchase standard recruits with iso8. Was there an update that changed the ability to do so? Cuz i have 68000 or so iso8 and would like to use it lol Please get back to me

The game I've played the longest by far. Pokémon GO has come and gone but I'm still regularly playing Puzzle Quest. Bit slow to start with but once you get a few good characters it gets better and no need to spend any real money.

It's bad enough how much it costs to open slots to hold more characters, but the amount of gold it takes to level up abilities is just insane!! It would cost me $20 to level up one ability one time on a 4 star character!! I have over 80 characters and have spent enough money on this game just opening slots!! So it'd be great if it didn't cost so much to level up abilities!! I'm not saying to make it free, but I don't want it to cost me an arm and a leg and my first born just to make my characters stronger.

The Deadpool Daily update is excellent as it gives everyone a chance to improve their rosters every day. This is a BIG help for new players as there are an easy 2 covers to collect every day. It's little things like this that make this a top, top game. Easily a 4.9/5 game with the high cost of roster slots later on in the game being my only issue. Still the best match 3 game I've ever played though

Highly addictive and collecting the heroes is a lot of fun. Casual alliance look for ElementZero. Like the addition of ads to gain extra stuff if you watch. Really like the new level up buttons. Great new feature is favorite your characters for better luck getting them to drop!

Amazing roster! Classic jewel matcher with a super powered edge. It's great to see Norman Osborn's Dark Reign storyline get some love. Only downfall is you'll find yourself needing to fork over cash or risk losing precious heroes or villains.

If you like both Pokemon and Bejeweled, you'll be addicted to this game. My only complaint is that it's obvious they want you to spend money, which is fine, but the amount of money required to level up a character is just too expensive. $200 bucks to level up one character? Uh no... But otherwise an outstandingly addictive game and I play it daily.

The core match game is tons of fun. Like all "FtP" games you will have to pay a bit to keep up. But their reward system is terrible: it isn't rewarding and progression is painfully slow. It's set up so that each new character makes the game worse instead of better. At this point they will never fix the underlying problem, so you're better off skipping it for a game that's more rewarding in the long run.

A year ago, I would have given it 5 stars. My friends got bored of playing because the game got too crowded due to the constant influx of (what feels like mostly re-run) characters and the lack of actual plot content. Not to mention the fact that there's no real end-game, and it involves too much grinding to qualify as a "casual" game. It just gets monotonous after a while.

New challenges and rewards every day. Still fun at higher levels. Save your gold coins to buy new spaces in your roster. I don't make any purchases, it's harder work but you can still make progress.

Previously, I genuinely liked this game, but they frequently change many characters and in-game rewards, making things that you have spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON obsolete. Not to mention the consistent bugs that the game makers are ALWAYS unapologetic for. Oh, and, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVER! And no, "a customer support ticket" does not fix ANYTHING, because Customer Support is almost completely automated. lol

TL;DR: don't bother starting. Devs are stingy with resources and you'll never catch up. I played for about two years & recently quit. The game is fine as a match3 game and has good mechanics with different powers for each character. That's the good. The bad is the fact it takes a big time or $ investment to get anywhere useful. The reason is TOO FEW RESOURCES, random rewards & too many characters so it becomes extremely difficult to get what you need. Since you compete with players who have years head starts a NEW PLAYER WILL NEVER CATCH UP.

Lots of npc cheap shots. It can do stuff you can't. Lopsided unless you pay the $ to get those legendaries and to level up your existing characters. Been playing a looong time too. Was 5 stars

Great game and fun to play, can become very addictive if you're not carefuly. Be warned the game a.i. cheats a bit (enemy gets hero matches and set resources each turn from non-characters). I don't need to have the V.I.P. deal pushed at me every time I sign in to play. Some voluntary ads just black screen forcing you to close the game. Game has become a little unstable crashing when starting a mission.

Waste of time, effort, and money. As they have "balanced" the game making hero and villains weaker for I guess pvp, which I do not play, now it has become close to impossible to AIs. Game is now impossible, f*** pvp if that was you reason to Nerf every character. AI is now unstoppable. I would like at least 40 dollar back for slots that now carry garbage. I spend money with hopes on you guy continued with what was once awesome game. Really VIP the Greed is showing.

It's a fun game until it gets tedious and boring. Give me an occasional three star card I actually want and not three zillion one star cards. Otherwise this match three nonsense gets damn boring and seems pretty pointless.

Pvp is impossible. I'm matched up with teams a lot stronger than my own, which means i dont get cool rewards for the season like i used to. Power Boost is so rare, used to be common. I've been here for years and it keeps getting worse.

Currently unplayable on the Galaxy S7 after the hardware update. Highly suggest avoiding the update across the board as it has screwed up almost everything. No one was prepared for it apparently. Enjoyable for what it is. Amusing marvel related jokes. Would be so much better if you could send your friends cards you can't use and if you could get more iso-8 in a day of causal play, though the new shield level system is a good assist for this. They have also added bonus rewards if you choose to watch videos. They are also consistently trying to improve the game and doing a good job of it.

Good game for when you only have a little time to play, or a lot of time. My only issue is the limited amount of hero space before you are forced to purchase with real money. But that is how these games are free so it is a small complaint.

Why I'm saying I hated it is because so much more could have been done. For example I play it at least once a week so why do I hate it? Because with that amount of work you could have done something amazing.

An addictive and mostly fun game, only downside is the higher level you get the more it cheats, not only do they boost the opposition's levels and powers (sometimes to the point of imbalance (eg. (muscle)) which you expect, the board and "random" drop downs get more and more biased to the ai. Can get very frustrating.

This is a brilliant addition to the Puzzle Quest games. Very good gameplay and the leveling system is great. It would be nice to see the character slots a little cheaper as they increase in cost the more of them you buy, it almost seems like they are penalising players who pay the most. It would also be nice to see a little bit of long term content added as well as more of the weekly quests. Very enjoyable game overall though. 4.5/5 - .5 for cost of character slots.

Edit: the game now has adds and a chance for bonus covers for your "favorited" characters. Fun but it is a bit of a grind at times. The daily rewards don't reset if you miss a day either, so you get out what you put in. There is a problem with flooding the game with new new characters regularly that are hard to get, pandered to, then forgotten about in following events which is just an absurd bottle necking mechanic.

The Favorites system makes finishing any 4* character impossible anymore. If it hadn't come with the idiotic idea to make only the 12 most recent characters available, it'd be fine. Also, nobody wants more Hawkeye. Why the heck do we need a Hawkeye of EVERY SINGLE STAR LEVEL?

The limitations of the rooster combined with the rare and random dropped covers, is kinda annoying. But once you do get a extra cover and can upgrade you favorite hero... brings back the fun

Been playing for a few years now and had just upgraded my phone again and thought I lost my game again. But I backed up the game to Facebook the second time so I was able to bring back my awesome roster. Seriously recommend to any one Seriously playing to back up to face book!! A very fun and addictive game full of my favorite marvels!

It's a solid game with great characters, but there are no brand new missions and storylines. Move away from the Dark Avengers as they haven't been relevant for a decade and bring in more xmen and Inhumans

Great game but I don't like being forced to play teams I can't beat. And bring back the option to use ISO to get covers! Make it cost more but don't remove it! My stash is useless now. Not cool.

PLEASE ADD X MEN AS A TEAM. They seem to not promote X Men like they should. However they do make it possible to get things without paying. Massively fun. ALSO THEY SEEM TO HAVE FORGOTTEN MEMBERS OF THE X MEN ARE MEMBERS OF THE XMEN! Will make 5 stars when they property respect the X Men. Thanks for the X force gift. You changed power cost on Juggernaut years into the game? Lame.

In multiple enemies waves sometime new enemy show up and get stuck need to reorganize to put them right. (previous) The versus is getting difficult to play, it is challenging but also losing the fun. Invisible woman for the blue power, it will be great if it can add bubbles even when no enemy tiles in place. It will be a good idea to take out AP gain on enemy when there is an AP match collect character(s) in play, it is just not fair for enemy team double dipping.

Too many alert popups upon opening. I counted 12 once. Why can't they just put this info in a "mailbox" like other games do. Also basic info is tutorialized when it's not needed while other things aren't explained at all when they should be.
