NEW: They have indeed fixed the ad problem. The new UI leaves a bit to be desired, but overall it does exactly what its supposed to do. Its Minesweeper. They successfully didn't screw it up. Prettier graphics than a lot of Minesweeper games on Android. I am leaving the old review as a warning though. While they backed off this time, the fact the developer thought it was ever a good idea is questionable at best. But as it stands, highly recommend this game. OLD: Was great. Then they introduced twenty second forced video ads.

Revising my previous review down to two stars. That new game button is a pain. STOP TRYING TO IMPROVE THINGS ITS MINESWEEPER NOT A ROCKET SHIP. WE DONT NEED USELESS BUTTONS COVERING THE GAME BOARD.

Only complaint: High scores list isn't your own scores. Rather, you are put on a list with tens of thousands of other users. I would pay for the game if the full version kept the scores to only your own. Other than that the game is a lot of fun!

One of the better minesweeper games out there, just a few complaints: 1. Make the switch to flag button the full corner of the screen so you cant press behind it. 2. If you are going fast and you get a new pb and accidentaly press anywhere on the screen which isnt the save time button it wont save it which is infuriating.

Had to come here and complain about the gigantic and completely unnecessary new game button that was added. Please get rid of this monstrosity.

It STEALS Data!!! It used 7G in one month and I can't even remember ever playing it. Use at your own risk.

Kind of disappointed that you added unskippable video ads...**EDIT** These ads removed, thank you devs.

It's hard to flag and unflag the bomb. Take too much time just for flag the bomb.

Simple and fun.

Dunno why they moved the restart face. Years of muscle memory are embedded in me and every time I lose and reach for the top of my screen I'm even more frustrated. Great.

Loved this app until the latest update. Now after every game there's a loud, long, unskippable ad. If this was every so often, that wouldn't be so bad, but after every game? Uninstalling and going with another free app. I won't be rewarding such crappy advertising tactics by buying the paid version just to get rid of these stupid ads.

This was my go-to time killer game until the latest update. Will display unskippable video ads with full audio and no option to mute. This is a pretty terrible implementation to a game that would otherwise be 5 stars. Hopefully the dev sees the recent reviews and low ratings to address this.

I enjoyed this game until 2 weeks ago. Now suddenly every time I use it I am saddled with ridiculous ads that won't stop. I will no longer play this game and will be deleting it

Like others have said, after the latest update your stuck watching unskipable adds. The adds before the update were fine but now they are loud and way too long. Great way to kill what once was a great game.

Stupid unskippable video ads after years of solid use. Can't even upgrade to get rid of them. Done with this game.

The game plays fine, but out of nowhere it opened and an ad started playing with sound while I was at work. I haven't played this game in months and it's starting even while my phone is locked. Uninstalling.

Loved this game until recently. Now there are deafening video ads after each game that play for a good 30 seconds. I am unimpressed and have uninstalled.

Uninstalling after the new overly obnoxious ad update. Loved and was addicted to this game before that.

Was a great app that we used as a family but after latest update the ads run every time you loose, loud and you cant exit it, what a dumb upgrade - uninstalling.

Are you kidding me? After years of enjoying this game, now we get full screen loud video ads? And you can't exit it? That's how you get me to uninstall your app. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Have this app for years, the ads back then wasn't so intrusive, now the ad pop up while playing, with no warning, with volume, cannot be skipped (for 15 sec)

Unskippable 15 sec loud video ad in a simple minesweeper is just crazy. I never saw such bold exploiting of one's user base.
