About Eternal Vows

The heroine is an ordinary student. One day, she finds herself got thrown back in time to an old era, about 500 years before, known as the “Warring States” period. She meets ninjas who are fighting and risking their lives in major battles. A bitter-sweet story of love beyond time found between the heroine and the ninjas is now about to begin!!

1. Story Introduction
The heroine of this story is an average student and a member of her school’s archery club. In a sudden twist of fate, she finds herself leaving her uneventful life behind, being thrown headlong through time to medieval Japan. In this time, known as the “Warring States” period, continued civil war ravages with no end in sight. She appears in this time right at the feet of Masatora Uesugi, later known as Kenshin Uesugi. Masatora takes an interest in her bizarre clothes and way of talking, brings her back to Kasugayama Castle and places her under guard of the “Nokizaru”, a unit of ninjas. Although life in this war-torn era is not something she has ever expected up until now, she does her best to stay positive. She finds a place for herself by connecting with the people around her, eventually understanding and feeling the importance of the bond with them.

2. Characters

*Akatsuki (Nokizaru):
The prospective head of the Nokizaru. He sounds overbearing, yet is straightforward and considerate in nature. He cares about his comrades, and once he trusts someone, he takes care of him or her for life.

*Suien (Nokizaru):
A man with a laid-back personality who is kind to anyone. He loves playing the flute, and teaches his knowledge to children.

*Shuya (Nokizaru):
A man of few words. With a dead-serious personality, he places orders before all else, yet takes good care of the younger ones. He also plays an important part as a chemist.

*Masato (Nokizaru):
He is a strong and skilled man above all, and is acknowledged by others. Ever since he first met the heroine, he somehow places a distance between himself and her.

*Yataro Kojima (Captain of the foot guard of the Echigo Army):
A massive man who serves Masatora from a young age. He is friendly and watches over the heroine along with his younger sister, Princess Aya.

*Kanehisa Togi (The former master of Nokizaru):
A man with a very strict personality. Only partially retired, he continues to assist the young Nokizaru. All of them stand in awe and respect him.

*Kansuke Yamamoto (A strategist of the Takeda Army):
A man of mystery. Although he serves Shingen Takeda for many years, he looks ageless. He takes an interest in the heroine and tries to approach her.

*Rurimaru (Nokizaru):
A bright and energetic boy, loved by everyone. He is not skilled enough yet, and is treated like a younger brother by others. He gets along well with the heroine like brother and sister.

The plot was basically nonexistent, and only purpose is to put the heroine in danger and hardly anything else. I played Yataro's route and I was extremely disappointed at how this played out. This story felt absolutely forced because there are just so many things going against heroine to end up with the chosen love interest and thus the ending was absolutely unsatisfactory. Judging by other reviews, other story routes seem to end the same way, forced romance. Will not be buying any more routes.

Variety in the stories even though there's a lot of similarities. Lots of reading. My only complaint is there's not option to turn off the vibration alerts in the middle of a story. Don't mind using it when I'm reading by myself but in places like a waiting room or at bedtime when silence is necessary, even the vibration alert in the middle of the story can be too loud. I hate having to tell anyone not minding their business that no, it's not an alert, yes it's my phone not yours, and yes, I'm ignoring you

I have played most Shall We Date games in the past and, I must say, the stories keep getting shorter and shorter. Each chapter is not nearly as fulfilling as the others and, considering how the prices are still the same as the old games, this one was not worth the investment. It was still an okay story, heck, it was even funny at times! However, choices are totally random as well as unrelated to the character's personality and there is no character development throughout the story. The ending also leaves much more to be desired, meaning that it is sweet and yet unfulfilling. I only played Akatsuki's route and, unfortunately for this series, I am not so confident in the other routes as this route was NOT up to my expectations. It really could have been done better with a little more effort on the story.

Honestly if someone has to buy a story say it. you don't just surprise them in the middle of the story and say you need to buy the story . So angry . Pls make it free and will give 5stars. thx

I took this game on a whim and honestly this one just won my heart over. The characters are charming, the main heroine is quite adorable, the story itself is lovely. Especially since it's based on a real Japanese battle. The game focuses more on the story, which I like. And the love builds over time so it's not like a love at first sight thing. So don't expect too much romance at the start, especially if you choose Akatsuki's route. I mean, you ARE a complete stranger so it's expected in wartime.

I've played three routes so far and I've loved all of them. It's a historical story so if you're not into Japanese history the actual history and attention to detail part may throw some off. I personally love that when the heroine goes back to the past no one is speaking modern, it wouldn't make sense. Definitely worth the money.

I've greatly enjoyed the few routes I've bought so far. I like the art style, too. If you're having trouble getting a good ending, find a walkthrough! They exist. My only complaint is not being able to "Save" the CGs like I can in other paid SWD games. My phone is a real pain to take screen shots with, so I would give 5 stars if you add that feature for CGs. Thanks!!

^ The story was all over the place and each guy's route shares about half the scenes with everyone else. Romance was barely there and you can't even skip seen messages. The art and music are the only things saving it. Don't waste your money.

Just my exact kind of guy, from a fantasy perspective. Ticks every box for me. I am not going to criticise anything, even despite the blatant tackiness, simply because it achieved the desired result ;)

This one is tougher because unlike other otome games there's no "love meter", so you're not really sure how well you're doing as you progress through the game. I just finished Akatsuki's route now and I got the sad ending, but whatever... I like a challenge!! I'll play it again and see how I do!!

Cant get the app to work and when I tried to puchase the stories none of them would work. It kept having a message saying to try again. App needs to be fixed and updated. The same problem with the Pirates app too.

So far it's great and I love togi! But I hope they add more characters like Kenshin I really want to play is route. I finished Togi's route and I just love him so much ! He is my favorite but I hope they make a sequel because he never told her he loved her or kissed

X70%

Not much romance in this one. Most of the endings were disappointing. Even the story was a little flat compared to the complexity and depth of, say, Scarlet Fate. I understand having it start out the same, but there was very little difference between the routes, even once it started to "branch" in chapter 11 (of 14!)

Z70%
by Z####:

The story is well written and the art is beautiful, but with each character you read the same story over and over. The difference is that the endings are the different. At least write an original story for each character and center the story around the character and the heroine . One more thing, this was barely a romance story until the very end. This should just be a regular narrative game.

Also the summary for this looks like it was copy pasted from an Inuyasha wiki. "Japanese school girl time travels back 500yrs into the warring states period.." >_>

Omg the story was really well written, I cried at so many parts. Misato was totally my favorite! Keep up the good work!!!

Loved the heroine, and honestly EVERYONE needs to read Kansuke's route!! To the developers, can you please make sequels to some of these characters, kansuke and akutski in particular lol. I wish each route was a little more segregated and original though. It got kinda boring when I kept having to reread alot of the main dialogue. The art work too could use more originality, it's almost all the same artwork, especially in the beginning. But all in all, I loved this game so much, I cried, and I want MORE!!!!!

So happy to see Nise no Chigiri localized. I love that Solmare kept the music, but very disappointed that the voices were removed, so much is lost when they're gone. I would have even paid more if the voices weren't removed! Great story, lovely artwork. If you're unable to get a happy ending, use a walkthrough (don't leave a bad review because you don't choose the correct answers)

Great character! The heroine is awesome and there are 8 heroes to choose. Kudos for the older character. I'm not really satisfied wih the ending. I play Old Man Togi route, I got both normal and sweet end. However, I feel that the normal end is way better than sweet end. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the sweet end. :(

I get using language relevant to the time period but it's more annoying than anything!! Also it takes forever to get to the romance part. The art is terrible and the love choices leave much to be desired. Please go back to making true romance stores. The last few games that have been released are just awful! I like your games but this one just isn't worth the $!

I am playing Masato's route and I was very excited because I love these games and reading the adventure and having those" OMG" moments and whaling around in my bed. But with this game. There is no adventure I feel like I am trapped in these long chapters just doing nothing. The plot is Meh and characters are meh. But I paid 4.99 for Masato's route and I don't even see him until like 4th or last little bit if 5. Even when I see him he and I only have a small section then that's it I do not see him anymore.

Died the first time didn't expect that one! As if not having a romance was bad enough I get killed for not picking the right answer hahaha. was rather amusing. For people who keep getting the sad ending go back pick another answer Bookmark whenever you get a choice of answers and if you don't get to see your romance character go back & try a different answer (sometimes you can't but then select the choice of a person who won't have a romantic interest in you). Sweet ending was cute but like a bit more mush.

I'm actually surprised I did not like this. I barely got to see Akatsuki (the character I chose) until the last few chapters even then there wasn't much interactions.Plus after paying for that very story I was super disappointed to have the end of this experience being that last thing to happen was being strangled by Suein then the app cuts off (I'm assuming that's a sad ending Lol) into a "this app has stopped working" fast-forwarding to get a different ending takes too long.

The art is amazing and characters are so bangable but you're essentially downloading a title screen and a few videos. Everything else is paid. Came in expecting high things and ended up really dissapointed. Maybe i'll come back when i have money to dish out.

i really love the paid model more than the points and pay by item models. It's so much more enjoyable to play the entire story without worrying about micro transactions. Thank you for releasing more stuff in paid version!!!!

I've read the manga and I've been wanting to play this, I'm so happy I can play it now. Granted it's not the voiced and longer version, but I'm totally fine with waiting to play that in the future maybe? I wish people would stop giving it bad reviews, people need to understand that there was a time when they tried to bring these types of games here in the US (yo-jin-bo?) But it did not do well. So in order to make more available, there needs to be an interest.

YAAAAAAS thank you! Now if only they'd port it to psp/vita >< or at least make the character voices available ;A;
