In the mega virtual internet space cyTus, there exists a mysterious DJ legend Æsir. His music has an irresistible charm; people fall madly in love with his music. Rumor has it that every note and beat of his music hits the audiences in
the depths of their souls.

One day, Æsir, who had never shown his face before, suddenly announced that he will be holding the first mega virtual concert —— Æsir-FEST and will invite a top idol singer and a popular DJ as opening performances. The instant the ticket sales began, an unprecedented rush occurred. Everyone wanted to see Æsir's real face.

On the day of the FEST, millions of people were connected to the event. At one hour before the event started, the previous world record for most simultaneous connection was smashed. The whole city was on its feet, waiting for Æsir to descent from the skies...

Honestly a great game. It was a step up from the previous in every way. EXCEPT having to unlock chaos difficulty for songs. I don't want to have to play level 5 hard songs only to not unlock the chaos difficulty for it. It's such a waste of time. Please unlock all difficulties when we unlock a song!! Also, some notes are NOT registering when i press!!!

Im trying to not give a bad nor great review as I haven't played the game. Simply because I get a screen that talks about headphones, then a loading screen then black and nothing changes no matter the wait time. Just giving a temp 1 star in hopes to get a devs attention.

Have same issue, black screen and crash. I've tried reinstalling several times but still the same. While in the black screen state, sometime a toast message 'Security Violation : Illegal Access Has Been Detected' appear. Sometimes (very rarely), I managed to get past the black screen by switching app and return to cytus 2. My device is Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo. I hope this info helps.

You've done it again Rayark, a refreshing kind of rhythm game that made it much more than the first. Though I wish for future updates with free new songs to play because the IAP songs are expensive! Overall, still got that magic like the first Cytus and interesting setting.

I love everything about it, from the first view of the game. You already hit on us with the tutorial for the new gameplay, new controls. The UI is very amazing and beautiful! Can't wait to hear all the new compiled music. I'll have to save some money also for the three premium characters. Thank you for releasing it in Android!

Oke this second version of Cytus is totally mesmerizing. But why do I have to buy a level when I already bought the game? Its pretty harsh. And to be honest its better to high priced the game than the level, because it will be more worth to buy than the level in the game. I'll give you 5 stars because I'm still proud of you Rayark. Thanks.

It is more beautiful than I imagined! I already bought all the new characters!! There seems to be a small issue though. I payed for my characters on my Tablet, I turned on the Cloud so the progress could transfer to my phone, but unfortunately, I cannot play Xenon, ConneR, or Cherry on my phone, even if it is synced. It transferred the progress and not my characters, and when I click on them, it tells me I already bought them. What do I do?

Responsive and smooth (on my Note 5), clean UI, really cool presentation, and I like how the genres of music are represented by characters. Super worth purchasing and I can say the extra characters/song packs are worth it too. Gonna be playing this one for a long time and chase those S ranks!

This game has stepped up in terms of its gameplay mechanics, visual effects and interactive storyline! I relished the implementation of simulating online messaging and communication; making me feel as if I was a part of the storyline! I'm duly impressed with how each character's personality is displayed by their preference in music styles- one such character I'm reeled to is Paff since I'm partial towards her type of genre. :p My online issue is how steep the price is to unlock the other 3 characters.... I was ready to spend extra for the sake of experiencing the other genres. Perhaps tone down the price just a tad bit? C: Other than the affordability of the other characters, I'm satisfied with what Rayark has created!

Honest to goodness, I have tears of joy and this huge grin on my face. Cytus has somehow evolved from it's previous state of godhood, and has blessed us all with absolute beauty. On a less sappy note, BUY THE CHARACTERS FIRST THING. Holy smokes the story and realism are so engaging, kinda like a bunch of friends in a cyberpunk manga about music ???? absolutely fantastic work Rayark!

The game is amazing just like the first Cytus! I can't wait to keep discovering new songs and having fun but there's just one problem: frame drops. I'm currently using a Nexus 6 and I get frame drops while playing the songs (probably because of the particle effect). I hope a solution can be found for be frame drops and I'll update to 5 stars immediately!!!

A Sequel of Cytus, version II. Great as always. Cytus I was really awesome back at that time and now this Cytus II just as awesome as 2018 rhythm games. Even the gameplay are identical, I could feel really different experience to a next level (maybe because adding flick and super long note made those a lot difference). The graphic are really awesome. I really liked the theme and all the details are really awesome. But I got an issue. I'm using Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with Snapdragon 625 but I'm experiencing frame drop when holding notes, maybe still unoptimized for android. Rayark should fix unoptimized graphic this because for mid range processor like SD 625 should not experience frame drop, at least give us an option to reduce graphic quality. The music and the charts are really awesome as always. I really enjoyed them.

Great game that expands on the original Cytus. The new graphics look amazing and improve the clarity of the game in comparison to the original. The story is also very immersive and interesting. My only gripe is that the DLC is a steep price of $9.99 for only 10 extra songs. But I definitely got my $1.39 out of the content that comes with the base game.

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the sound fx doesn't work if I move from one character to another (ex: I played ConneR's song with sound fx on and it works, but after that I tried playing Xenon's and the sound fx doesn't work). It also stops working after I played like 5 songs in a row. I don't know why, please fix it????‍♀️ otherwise it's an awesome game as usual Rayark! Keep up the good work.

Honestly, Rayark outdid themselves on this one. I really thought they were done with Cytus but out comes Cytus II with some added mechanics and an visual/ aesthetic overhaul. My only gripe would be the 10$ iap but tbh those seem worth the money. Thank you Rayark for improving my fav rhythm games.

To be honest I love your music games. I been into it after know about Cytus then Deemo. I been looking forward for more game from Rayark and you come out with Cytus II. Overall the graphic and song perfect, but then I realize the gameplay slightly different the touch more sensitive then the first one. I don't mind pay for the song, but I hope the gameplay would be much better in future. Looking forward to see different platform game from Rayark!

Define perfection: cytus II. I played the first cytus when I was a child (not having my own gadget) borrowing my cousin's. When I grow up and finally can play from my own gadget, I find the first cytus' interface horrible (comparing it with voez & deemo) so I end up playing the other rythm game instead. But now!!!thank you for making cytus II with beautiful artwork, catchy songs, nice story, aesthetic interface, great sound effect, and so on. All of it for a cheap price as addition. Pardon my crappy English, sending my gratitude for cytus team for making my day✨

I love the characters' distinct personality and the banter between them. I think this is what makes the game more interesting than the previous game. There's just one problem. I have to go through the tutorial every time I open the game. I have to turn on cloud save before I can retrieve my previous data. Can you please fix this asap? Thanks

I have been an avid fan since the humble beginnings of Cytus, way back when, before the million downloads chapter. I must say, this game stays faithful to it's predecessor, and even excels in some aspects. I am wholly and truely amazed by this game. The first Cytus had very interesting lore, but it was buried deep within the gameplay and you would have to search specifically for it. In this game, the story is intertwined with the gameplay, and develops as you play more. Chapters are now swapped out for individual character story arcs. I love the spunky group of characters, whose character development is shown through social media posts. The gameplay itself is fluid and it makes sense. The graphics are absolutely out of this world. As you play, the screen explodes with color as you race to beat your hi-score. Long story short, I love this game.

Omg I love the game! It's color and art is just amazing and the music to back it up is awesome. Now Rayark, if you really do read this please for my sake. Thank everyone on the team. They all did a great job and honestly the story is 20x better then any Last of us or triple A game out there. It's a master peice of game and I will always support you! Only complant from me is the desync of the song and notes on some songs. Which is expected because it is new to andriod but please fix (is rare to happen but it does occur)

Some notes fail to register on my Galaxy Note 4 device. In addition, I've had a crash right after enabling the file access permission, but a reboot solved it. The writing is pretty interesting so far, by the way. Overall, once the bugs get sorted out, it'll be a solid five. As a side note, it'd be neat to get a "performance mode" option for the lower-end/older phones, kind of like Implosion's multiple graphic options.

Rayark has once again blown expectations. The soundtrack is great, the difficulty is fine tuned for casuals and pros, and the new design is sleek and clean. The only nitpick I have is the price of additional tracks. $10 for 10 songs. I still give this game 5 stars and I will buy because I know Rayark does not disappoint but it is something to be aware of.

Rayark never ceases to amaze me! All the of their games (music or rpg) are all just OUTSTANDING! After discovering Cytus 2 years ago through a friend, I became obsessed with it! As soon as I saw Cytus II I subscribed immetiately! The animation just blows me away, Iv'e played many games in my life but Rayark games never bore me! The art and animation just keeps me so hooked! The music is stunning, each track so different from the other and each one all so beautiful. Would definetly recommend this game to EVERYONE!

Great game works on Nexus5x w/ 4core patch. Feels like a console/arcade game rather than a mobile game very well made. Initial launch though was kinda slow took a solid 2-3mins I thought it wasn't going to work. It also crashed the first time but was able to play it afterwards did 3 songs no worries so far. If I could suggest though it would be nice if we could change the tap fx to different sounds that we could pair to different songs or customize different tap fx for single press, swipe, and hold. You could even charge for that feature. Anyways good game.

Cytus II is a far better improvement from the first game. Story wise, It has a unique way to tell you the plot. Shortly w/o spoiling. It tells you stuff with a reddit like forum called the iM (Expect reading and visual). Gameplay wise, it has the same up n down style like first one, but also with the addon like VOEZ. It has no performance degradation whatsoever! It runs so smooth . And Graphic wise, it has huge improvement. Really depicts the cyber theme so accurately with the improved sfx as well. So far great, but I think 1 character/album price is a bit much.

Q70%
by Q####:

It's amazing. I kinda worried for the flick notes at first but NOPE, it works great. It maybe just me but I feel the slide note is more responsive than original cytus. The issues I have with game is that it feels a little but grindy to gain songs, but on the bright side, it delivers the story smoothly. Also the dlc is expensive, huh. Welp, all in all, an amazing game

V70%

So we thought that Rayark found it with Cytus and that game was definitely a masterpiece. It's an artform in and of itself and we were truth blessed. But nothing, and I repeat nothing prepared us for the godly entity that is Cytus II. Beautifully crafted music? Got it. Flashy and gorgeous graphics? Got it. Competitive leaderboard? Yup. Kawaii anime illustrations? Dear god yes! My only gripe is that I really didn't want to spend my pizza money buying song packs but was it worth it? I don't regret not eating pizza last weekend.

Q70%
by Q####:

It's really a good game, but if possible please make some old charts to have different patterns rather than just copy back again from Cytus. And I noticed that the notes lacked the song quite some, not sure only my problem or what. Thanks????

Great improvement from the original Cytus!!! I really liked the new UI and the songs are great, it's like Voez and Cytus combined. I just noticed the same with the other reviews that my phone heats up while playing the game. Then it impacts my game as it lags. This never happens in original Cytus. Probably needs optimization. Btw, I'm using Sony Xperia Z5.

Q70%
by Q####:

Cytus 2 good job so far, the game is. Totally affordable for the first part, I don't like having to purchase more chapters, cause I'm not well funded. But for Cytus, I will. Even if it ain't the best decision. It's worth it in my book. This rhythmic music game is astounding, with it's interactive story, cool characters and music used to define their imaginative existence, and the plot of Cytus two. It's wonderful, it truly is, and I'm glad there is more.

S70%
by S####:

I gotta be honest. As an avid player of the original cytus, this one so far has been quite...lacking in the genres the original cytus once offered. Not only that but I'm reeeeaally not digging having to level up in order to unlock more songs. I preferred having an open library like in Cytus and choosing to play whatever song I wanted whenever, not because I was inhibited by a level barrier that I needed to pass to get new songs. This game's strengths are its visuals and aesthetics so far and that's about it for me. I'm still waiting for an iconic piece of music cytus provided.

Q70%
by Q####:

Oh. My. God. I've always been such a fan of Rayark games. They really outdid themselves. Like the characters in the sequel is such a nice addition. The notes are a little harder to follow but I do love the effects and the colors. I love how the characters each have their own unique and distinct personalities and music styling. I love the story and the music. Especially the character themes. Rayark redefined music tap games. I can tell they put so much effort and heart into their games and I've never been disappointed with them. The only thing is that it's pretty expensive to unlock some chapters. But I think in the end it's worth it.

The game is beautiful, has awesome music and it's way better than the first game. What you guys did here is remarkable! The only thing I'm sad about is that it has no vibration. The vibration is what made me felt that i was actually pressing each circle and had more feel to the game. Please bring the Vibrations back! It really feels great when you play like that. ????

Rayark has done it again. I loved how the first one was and i really love this 2nd installment to cytus. Great graphics, good music, and a good story that unravels the more you play it. But what bumbs me out is you have to pay 10 bucks for the other characters that u can get. But its still good and adds more story and songs to the game. Thank Rayark for another great game. P.S, i wonder if you guys should do a sequal to Voez, that would blow my mind if that happened

Q70%
by Q####:

Absolutely amazing, really great game, definitely a great addition to the legacy of Rayark's rhythm games. Gameplay is solid, reminiscent of old Cytus with some new elements added here and there. The story is much more immersive, with multiple characters as opposed to Deemo's progression with one main character. One tiny comment though: the colours are absolutely impossible to distinguish when the bar is going up and down for colourblind me. It was easier in old Cytus with the white background, but I feel that the colours don't stand out enough against the black canvas here.

Q70%
by Q####:

Nice game overall. Well, it's from Rayark, afterall. But, isn't the price for 1 character a bit too high? I've spent money on other Rayark games so I don't mind spending money on games. I know there's cost and needs actual effort to make songs and it's completely fine for people to pay for it but maybe, just maybe, the price is too high for the new characters/genres. Still, this is a good game. Maybe give a demo or preview for some of the songs from the locked characters at a certain time so I know what type of songs I'll be paying for.

Q70%
by Q####:

Rip its like $16 for a specific genre / character. I want to play cytus classical music. I know creating games aren't free. But I wish cytus 2 could be play to unlock later on (or unlock at least one genre from playing). Also wondering if cytus 2 will work on keeping the heat the same or lower? (I like rayark games btw keep up the good work:)

C70%
by C####:

One word: ASTONISHING!!! The game is perfectly built but there are flaws also... 1. The app can't be moved into External Storage. 2. The gameplay slighly drops fps especially on the hold note. Much better if there is a gfx settings from low to high or maybe optimize the game even further. 3. The phone heats up real quick. 4. The hit sounds won't work sometimes like every 4 taps or more then the hit sound wont work then 4 taps again vice versa. That's all I can say for now. Great job on the 2nd Cytus.

Q70%
by Q####:

The game itself is amazing don't get me wrong, but everytime I play it it just completely wrecks my game performance because of the effects, espescially long slide chain. So I have a request to please add in the function of disabling effects. That would improve the gaming performance on a lower-end phone way more. That aside, this game is pretty much perfect. Really catchy songs and quite a intuitive gameplay. Nice job Rayark!

Q70%
by Q####:

No mere DLC masquerading as a sequel, Cytus II introduces a handful of new mechanics alongside a host of quality-of-life improvements that greatly polish the already stellar Cytus formula. The new song collections are grouped by genre, making it easy to find a track that suits your mood. My only complaint is that it's hard to go back to the original. Here's hoping that at least a "Best of Cytus Classic" makes its way to II.
