Countdown Maths Game is a beautifully designed and simple maths game based on the TV show 'Countdown'. The aim of the game is to create the target number using the 6 numbers and 4 operators.
The Pro Version Features:
- A variety of difficulties to match your ability.
- 4 different standard game modes.
- 1 brand new challenge mode unlike anything else.
- Ability to save questions for later.

Standard Game Modes:
- Free Play: No time limit, no score limits, just try and make the target number. Here is your place to practice your skills!
- Speed Mode: You have to complete a certain amount of questions in the lowest possible time, you can alter the score required in the settings.
- Time Mode: You get a certain time limit to try and complete the maximum number of questions you can. You can alter this time limit in the settings as well.
- Two Player - Play against a friend, you both get a minute to get as close as you can to the target number. You both get the same numbers to use and the same target to get to.
Challenge Game Modes:
- Single Player: Complete a set number of rounds, each round you choose a difficulty to attempt. You gain extra points for completing harder questions, not using all the numbers, having lots of time left, and completing successive questions. This mode is all about risk and reward!
- Two Player: The same idea as above but compete against another player to fight for the title!
Please understand this game uses integer division, for example 5/4 is not 1.25 but is 1, decimal places are not supported yet to make it easier to use for more ages.

After typing a number, an operation, and then another number, the numbers disappear without being replaced by the result of the operation. Thus I can't play

Great concept and I'm sure it will be a great app, but I keep getting "operator already present" when selecting an operator. I have to then clear the equation and do it again. This happens several times per challenge.

Unless I am understanding the rules incorrectly, this game is not working as described in their how to play... Update: Good support from the developer so I'm changing the rating to 3 until issue is resolved.

Love the game. Few things, if you do 5÷4 then it returns 1, I'd like to see am option to prevent the use of ÷ unless it divides perfectly. Feels like I'm cheating otherwise. Also I'd like to see a counter of how many you get correct in a row and also a solve button which shows you how it can be done.

At only £0.99 this game really games you value for money. An addictive game which will keep you busy for days with thousands of questions available in each level of difficulty. There are numerous levels of difficulties available to choose from which means even if your Maths skills aren't the best, you'll still be able to complete the questions. On the other hand, there are difficulties for those who are wanting to challenge their Mathematical skills. If you're into puzzle games, this game is a must play!
