Strike Wing: Raptor Rising

Fantastic, nothing less! Excellent generic gamepad support (using Bluetooth XBox clone), looks marvellous on a 10" tablet running Android 5.1 and runs smooth (4core, 1GB RAM). Great story mode, game is detailed - the stages are big, you have completely free movement in a beautiful environment. AI is really good. I bought the game by IAP (cheap) and am very happy with it. A serious blockbuster title for Android.

If you played PC space combat games in the 90's and forward: like Freespace, Starlancer, Wing Commander, and so on. This is probably a good game for you. *assuming I haven't missed anything... There are no PVP battles, or group assaults, you don't have to log in to get a daily reward. You don't have to shuttle stuff all over to get credits just so you can get a weak fighter to actually get into the game. There's none of that crap. This is a straightforward space combat game. Unlike many games lately there is a storyline. Which I really appreciate! The graphics are good, not amazing but well done. Controls are also quite good... I'm an old fart who is more familiar with an expensive stick and throttle combo not trying to navigate with tilting my screen. So, complimenting the controls is significant. So far this is among my top 5 games on my tablet.

I wish anyone could roleplay as the main character (which is Thane​ right?) with whatever name he/she chooses and that French could be chosen as the game language. The controls make flying & shooting very realistic, so if space dogfights are your thing, go for this one! Pity that although there are so many ships available to be chosen, I still hunger for more designs. Of all of the spaceships that have torpedoes, only my favourite Rhino has the ability to shoot tracker torpedoes. There seems to be a bug: sometimes the alien ships don't have shield & hull health indicators or I can't lock them in firing range. By the way, I have my own music playlist that seems to uplift the battle morale. ;) Bottom line: I really love this game!!

Great game. Much like Wing Commander. Worth the time/money. Thanks for updating on how much space it will take up. Stellar Wanderer is Awesome!!

Hi,developers.tnx for acknowledging my concern over the transfer game.issue.i download the game to my tab3v via playstore since transfer from one device to next is not working out(saying download resources 21. + mb but stopped at 99% and frozed) and what do you know. It worked.and i was able to play now.tnx guys for the tip and god bless.oh,wish you could do some update like continuation of campaign2. Youre great guys.keep it up.

I love this game and already paid, but is it still in active development? It makes no sense to release yet another new game if you haven't even finished this one. More chapters please...

THE CONTROLS DONT WORK!! I just loop de loop all the time without any control over my ship!

Its not bad. It has some things that I find a little difficult to do, but overall its a good game.

I've downloaded this game five times and I still can not control spacecraft, it just fly's around on some abject mission of its own.

I downloaded a bunch of similar space shooters and enjoyed this one the most, particularly because it worked out of the box with a joypad rather than having to map controls.

What I dont like is the fact that I purchased the full version but never got it.buyer beware.....

Permissions??? Why would it need access to my photos and media files its a game not a photo editor.And it won't work without so no game no stars.And don't cry to my email devs just fix it and i will fix stars OK.

Better than the Rest

Only played the first couple missions, but this game is amazing it kind of reminds me of wing Commander prophecy. And I had no issue buying the full game in-game, so ignore these reviews from like a year ago that say they can't buy it. I play with a controller btw

Game is ok but doesn't let me buy, says store is unavailable. This has been going on for a week. Tired of seeing countless ads, level capped and not been able to buy. It's like it wants me to watch ads, maybe developer earns more money that way and more power to him but it puts me off. I will be uninstalling. Why you don't allow purchase via play store? Make it clear on title it is a demo, trial or lite version.

If you're going to have a trial version then make that a separate app. Don't lock of the full version with no mention on the main page that it's trial only and requires a purchase. Besides the price for what you get is pretty steep. Sloppy controls and shoddy graphics.

Okay, so you can play the full game by watch ads. But who releases a game that only goes to Chapter 2??? Unfortunately, I paid for the game to uncap the level and got conned out of 42ZAR. I wonder if there is a way to report these con-men to Google Play.

The graphics and sound effects are brilliant, the controls are smooth and responsive and the action is thick and fast. I particularly like the fact that you can try the game before you buy it. In the campaign, the further you get the harder it becomes. Certainly a game you can play over and over again. The only drawback I have found to this game is the fact I'm a crap pilot, lol

I have no problem paying for a game as long as I enjoy playing. But I don't like the fact that I paid for the game an I still have to buy addition items for upgrades an ships...booo minus 2 stars for that. It is also hard to navigate through the ships an hard to tell how to upgrade your ship. That is the reason why I won't spend anymore money on this game. An it's a real shame cuz I enjoyed the first 6 levels. Wish you would just charge $20 bucks for the game an have everything unlocked.

Not sure why controller support isn't advertised. It's awesome. There are a couple of controls that can't be accessed (strafe, enemy cam, wingman commands). Overall a pretty fun game, although definitely a sad Freemium

The only problems I'm facing is the controls for the analog stick function is total off and in having a had time controlling the ship then yet a lone Firring please is it a grate deal to at lest put in inverted control settings this would help

Totally linear. Play mission, carry on. Fail, replay mission. Fail replay etc.... Galaxy on fire is still the best and only fps space shooter worth a look. Avoid this one

Graphics look good but then on the first mission the controls send you in a endless spiral. This needs to be fixed. The calibration was way off and could not be adjusted.

A bit simple, e.g. your ship is the only one that can't fly through asteroids. But fun. Really needs reverse landscape mode.

I personally like it but when I got to the mission screaming eagles it said trial mode

Really fills like in space very different very big this game is fantastic and cockpit pit views in my opinion brings on the realism of it all great game, love it to shreds thanks :)

Is there a way to disable motion controls when a controller is being used? That's the only thing bringing the game down at the moment for me.

Can't play battlestations mission two enemy's show up in the beginning but only one can be killed the other is just a blank point space in space how do I fix this or can y'all fix this pleas respond just bought the full game which is great except for that
