The Great Tournament

A fantastic story and a great choice game. In other choice games it seems by choosing certain stats you hinder your progress in game, but this one gives ample opportunity to adjust and still provides you with increases that are not arbitrary. And while filled with variety it doesn't overwhelm you with options that close off parts of the story. There are grammatical errors, which do not take away from the experience, but they are noticeable. At free with ads, this is a fantastic story to become engrossed in.

Ya know I've played a lot of these types of games, and I must say out of all of them, this one has really stood out to me. From memerable characters to good writing, this game has mastered what makes a game interesting and fun. The only flaws I can think of is its grammer and and the fact that it's too d**n short.

If you're not a grammar Naxi and can look pass a handfull of mistakes and misplaced words, then you're arleady on your way to being part of an exiting interactive story of honor (if you choose) and love (again of you choose). Loved it and will be playing more of these games from now on :D

I love it!!!!!! It has a very good plot and also this games especially makes reference and is connected to the other game of swamp catsle not making anyspoliers here but i love it but one request you cant you make a mnither choice of romance character in this game like other then one person i mean if its possible?

It's entirely free with an interesting plot. I'll definitely recommend this adventure for any readers out there. There are noticable punctuation errors but other than that, it's a well-rounded game. I must say this game is better than some of the pay-to-play ones.

Honestly I'm surprised this is free! One of the best games Hosted games has and it's free who would of thought! I wish more people knew how amazing this game is it doesn't feel rushed I feel like I get to know the characters well and when some of them die it is truly sad.

Awesome game, the plot was mindblowing. It took me what, 2 hours or 3 to finish it. I loved the end of the game best. I got the Prince achievement, 102 light, and 126 acore. My wisdom was surprisingly 25, but I hadn't added any points to it at the beginning. 10/10 game.

Honestly, I'm extremely picky with these games, considering I've been playing these since there were only a few out. I can without doubt say that this is my favourite game in this genre. I did not like swamp Castle, it was overly complicated for little payoff. This game, at first, bored me because of the walls of text, and I dropped it for a week. Then I picked it up again, and I played it non stop till the very end. I absolutely loved everything! The world was amazingly built, the characters I loved. I was genuinely cared about the characters, no matter how little screen time they got in the game. I loved the combat system, which mostly moved away from the boring troop control system of combat. The story, also absolutely stunning. I mean, the story dwarfs the heroes rise trilogy, and fans of these games know that that is a huge feat. Honestly, I cannot congratulate enough for this masterpiece. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Great story throughout, some spelling errors which bugged me. It was sad after I finished it cus I got bored. Would definitely recommend.

This is without a doubt my favorite Hosted Games story. I've read almost all of theirs now and this one drew me in the most. The story is compelling and makes you connect with the characters. The choices are important which makes you think long and hard before acting. One of the best stories hands down.

No complaints. I've played several chose your own and this one ranks in the top three. Nice story line, some spelling errors but nothing extravagant. Will recommend to friends.

5/5. Great story with even better characters. Really impressed with how big the world felt, given that we cant see it. There are some typos but such is expected in a story this long, and the mistakes are forgivable by the game being free.

Although there were a few typos I found the story to be exciting and I missed a lot of AP class time to read it. I've read many choice stories but this is truly one of my favorites.

What an unexpectedly excellent CYOA game. The typos are noticeable from early on, which usually indicates poor quality of plot. Usually, but not here. Instead, within thirty minutes I found myself engrossed in a purposefully cliché fantasy universe. The world still has its own quirks, and the typos continue throughout (there's even one on the stats menu, "importanant), but the obvious ASOIAF lifts are not as problematic as you'd expect. The only one that grated on me throughout was the use of the name "Varys". Contrary to the complaints of other reviewers, I'm glad there was no save function - it made every decision feel like it could be my last. Pro tip: keep your health up, even if that means missing an event. Each phase of the game is different, and the latter half is probably the most nonlinear of any CYOA I've ever seen. When the game suddenly opened up like that, I felt like I do when I reach the world map in a Final Fantasy game - exhilarated. The entire experience takes 2 to 4 hours, which is a little on the short side, but hey - it's free.

"A Knight's Tale: Reimagined/Extended Version" is what came into my mind as I play/read this CYOA. The story is good, maybe need to fix typos, punctuation, etc. But overall, it is pretty good CYOA.

A few grammatical errors but nothing to bad. The story started maybe a bit slow but really picked up pace later and became very interesting, in fact the if im not mistaken this story takes place in the same universe of the game "swamp castle" and mentions certain events that had happen in that storyline which i thought was unique.

Im a hosted games fan and i was quite suprised to see this game free,the story is really good and not that short... it leaves a great feeling like somehow the story was real.Keep up the good work.

Don't believe the 4.8, it has. By far one of the worst written Choice of Games so far with terrible controls. It only has pre determined scenarios with your choices making very little actual impact. 3/10

The only way to make this the best app ever would be to put more storyline inbeteeen the marriage and your eventual death. Right now it skips from marriage to death.

Really, really great, good heroic storyline. However game crashes regularly. I have no clue why. Doesn't affect gameplay though, it's a great game.

Easily the best hosted games game I have played. A very interesting and exciting story with some very likable characters. The world Is highly detailed and I love the sheer amount of freedom you are given at one stage. On my first try I ended up finishing with 100% light and married hannah, would definitely recommend.

The story is engaging, as are characters. There is a twist and then it becomes more open ended what you do. I notice a bug where I don't lose any gold when buying city upgrades or new gear. Kind of makes the open ended portion less engaging due to limitless spending.

I loved the story, I laughed at times and felt for all of the characters. Good job

I love it how you put the story of Swarm Castle in this game, to know what happen to our character when played the loyal vassal route that ended up as king. Keep up with the hard work!

Really good story, exciting and fun to read, you can really tell that much effort was put into it. Hope to see more stories like this one but maybe with a tiny bit of fantasy added to it.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, my first time I failed and died but I instantly started over and towards the end my heart was racing I was so excited!

Great story but few problem like getting Unlimited Money By going to the academy and then selling the staff and at the end I got the achievement ruthless even thou I had max light

Great game best I've played in a while only issue is the gold status glitches out ever so often.
