LauncherPro Plus Unlocker

This used to be a great launcher for android but has since been overtaken by a multitude of different launchers that receive frequent updates from their developers. It's about time that the rewrite of LPP is released to the people that have purchased this app... time for Fede to come out of his cave and make due on his promises..

I tried to make MotoBlur work for me, I tried ADW (and purchased it), and though it was a step in the right direction, it was a little buggy/glitchy, and also not quite as customizable as I would like. LauncherPro is great- it's lightweight, very customizable, fancy if you want it to be, and otherwise gets out of your way. I immediately bought the unlock key, not for the features, but to show my appreciation.

The other homescreens may include other transitions and eyecandy but they just can't beat the stability and careful attention to quality that is LauncherPro. We're all waiting for the eventual rewrite, but Federico is a cautious dev who doesn't want to rush the product and I applaud him for his product thus far.

Hey the interface is wonderful and fits right in with my wallpapers. Only thing I Hate is That there are no custom dock Icon Changes. If The Widget themes were applicable to the dock icons I would give it a full 5.

Like every other app from this dev, all development was abandoned within the year and people still hold on to the believe that a rewrite is coming. Don't waste your money on any of this guy's apps.

LP+ rocks my socks off. Other Launchers are good too, and I give Kudos to the developers. They can do stuff that most us can only wish we could do and I wish people could stop squirming about bad codes and start giving some productive feedback that will help improve apps/launchers. But I have to hand it to the LP dev. Good job. I cant put my phone (Droid X) down. The UI is smooth and actually useful. Its fancy enough to be eye candy but not too fancy to be useless. Its utility use is unprecedented!! Peace!

Runs like crap on my galaxy note. Fede hasn't updated in ages even though there was the promise of a complete rewrite. Sad really as was the best launcher. Using the inferior and bloated go launcher at the moment :-(

What happened to this fast and beautiful launcher? Like others have commented, I too am facing forced closures and strange lockups at boot from Gingerbread based ROMs and onwards. Pity, that an application that has so many paid users is facing this. Contacting the developer yielded no response. Again, something that other customers have also done. This author is leaving us no choice but to junk his creation :-(

All of you A$$hats that gripe that it doesn't get some minor bugfix or minor feature every other day need to find a hobby. It's a well known fact that the author intended to do a top to bottom rewrite to optimize code and bring the latest and greatest forward. The fact that this is STILL one of the top launchers despite the meager half year since a rewrite is incredible. Can't wait to see the rewrite

Ever since I got the Gingerbread 2.3.3 update, it has crashed just about every single time I've tried to open something. I don't think I can clear or restart much anything else on my phone. I have no clue why it's doing this. But I love it, nonetheless.

Crashes on my S III all the time and is not usable. Will wait for update until I try to use this program again. Was good while it lasted though.

I have used handful of launchers out there, from ADW eX to Zeam but Launcher pro beats them all. Its very smooth and very stable. Been using it for over a week and it has not crashed me on yet. I recommend it to every one!!!

LauncherPro was a GREAT launcher while it still was supported... unfortunately Federico Carnales abandoned it about two years ago (the last updated date was May 17, 2011, and this unlocker was last updated March 29, 2011). Even without any support over the past two years, it still is considered one of the better launchers out there, and the only reason it isn't considered one of the best launchers is that it is starting to become a little dated. It is small, fast, and has many great features, unfortunately as it ages it also doesn't have some of the great features available in the newer versions of Android. I would love to see this launcher supported and developed again, it was ahead of it's time when it came out.

Unfortunately, this was constantly causing crashes on my phone. I loved everything about the layout options this app provides and the quick response... but the price of using this app was not having a working phone for 60% of the time. ADW is now my chose for a launcher. Much more stable.

I installed this app about a month ago. Everything was running smooth for a week or so. After that it started crashing. I have complained about it more than a dozen time, but no response at all from developers. A good app, but as bad customer service!!

I really like how this launcher works and I love the customization. I find that it takes my bettery life down to two hours, though, so I cannot keep it. I wonder if I'm missing something since I'm sure not everyone else who loves it is tethered to a charger...

The calendar gets stuck, the app is stalling, and its been abandoned. Come on fed we supported you now support our product.

This was my favourite launcher for a long time but now it does not work on my galaxy s 2 after the ics update and this launcher is never updated. I had to switch to GO launcher. Until it is updated everyone please save your money to avoid dissapointment.

This is a very nice launcher and for the few minutes (yes I said minutes) it worked I was impressed. Do yourself a favor and go to the developers website and read the forums. This app is crashing and the developer has not responded to repeated request to fix the issues.

Force closes after phone starts up after reboot. Phone stays locked up until it force closes. Like the perks would get 5 stars if they fix this.

Wants me to enter a PayPal number even though I purchased in app store. No response to my emails..wont read as If i even paid for it. Worthless.

Developer hasn't updated in a year and responds to emails with a default response stating you have to figure it out on your own in a public forum. Worthless, waste of time and money.

Not free of glitches, but the best launcher out there! Calendar does not always show correct date unless you hit refresh. Atrix.

Can someone please hack this software and make it free we uploaded just give it a new name or something because the developers clearly not going to do anything with this app

Not sure why but recently I have been having issues with the app failing constantly. Used to love this app but it also sounds like it is no longer supported... I plan to look for a new one

The developer didn't abandon it smartassess, Fede is working daily at rewriting the code to improve it further, read up on his forum before you claim something like that. Also if it works as it should, why is it automatically bad because of the lack of frequent updates? Just because he hasn't updated it in a while doesn't mean it'll stop working as it has previously. Give him some time dammit!

Best launcher on market but no support causes daily (often multiple) fc and reboot! Please fix for 5* rating! $349,000 made to date & no support? WTF? Droid x2

Unless you have android 2.3 or lower this app will not work. Development stopped in may 2011 so if you have a modern phone this will not work. It's a real pity because there was no better Launcher than this. I bought this app because I love it. It's just to bad I have been charged 5 times for it. For the record that makes this the most expensive launcher on the the market stay away!!!

Crashes all the time, unstable when widgets are added, crashes. Apps drawer crashes, nice features that crash, unusable. I payed and regret it. NO UPDATES

This app was the best launcher. I bought plus here and paypal back in the good ol' days. Others have caught up, just waiting for rewrite!

Im using HTC G2: Very nice, fast speed, and many cusomizations ext. But when upgraded to full i started having issues, calls and txt force closed. :/

Pros: smooth and light weight launcher. Some customization options but it is starting to lag behind GoLauncher Cons: The widgets are not worth the $3.50. This app has not been updated since May 2011. Instead of updating the app they just issue a warning stating that the gmail widget will no longer work. All in all a decent launcher but don't buy the Plus. You get all you need from just the launcher. The widgets are pretty worthless since it seems to be abandoned now.

No updates, no support for the app, makes me sad to have spent any money on this. Just remember that Federico Carnales has NO FOLLOW UP ON APPS!!!!!

surely no update in 2 years plus no solution to gmail issue plus NO RESPONSES FROM DEV HERE OR ON HIS OWN WEB SITE / FORUM must mean it is abandoned. GOOGLE SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS APP TO REMAIN IN THE STORE!

I love my Nexus One, but with the Gingerbread update the stock launcher would get very sluggish then FC’s every two or three days. It was getting to be like a flashback to my old WinMo phone. I went looking for something more stable and settled on a Launcher Pro. Launcher Pro offers a much better experience – more home screens, scrollable dock, widgets, better navigation, and much more stable. Upgraded to the Plus version – well worth the $$.

Wouldn't have bought this if I knew that the developer had abandoned it last September and then just left the app on the market for profit. Useless, lacks tons of features that ADW has. Just disappointing. I wish I could get my money back.

Just bought this app. It super cool. Best launcher available. One feature request: Please allow user to reorder the screens. May be in the preview mode, we could drag and reorder the screens.

do not buy this. The last remaining working widget no longer works due to changes in 3rd party software. The dev has not updated this app since March 2011. support is now dead. It has been abandoned.

missing swipe down to open notification and swipe up to toggle fullscreen features,needed badly for 1hand operation.Add more screen transitions..x10
