Mumble! - Smart Notifications

Google Hangout doesn't work with new AT&T Galaxy S5 Lollipop update. Very frustrating as it's my main messaging app.

When I get a text, if I'm using any other app, the screen flashes the blank screen with the mumble logo up top. This alone warrants a 1star, this has been happening for months and should have been fixed. Verizon gs5 if it helps

Well worth every penny. My wife is constantly texting me, so this is a huge help so that i don't have to check my phone every 5 seconds. Thanks dev!

When it lets you know how long a text is without even having to look at the phone, it's pretty cool and genuinely useful. I'd say that's worth it.

Have SGIV phone... I'm not alerted at all...I have configured all the settings and still don't have my notifications

Updates have changed my review from 3 stars to 4, and now to a full 5. Really useful for deciding if i feel like taking my phone out of my pocket. Just got a new phone and this was one of the first apps I redownloaded. Hopefully android pays you a couple million to make it native!

Brilliant idea and it works great.

For the different emotions, it would be great to be able to create custom vibrations.

I bought it, and was going to even investigate how to use it. But the fact that it auto-launches when I boot my Nexus 5, and there was no way to easily turn that feature off, was too annoying for me. Just uninstalled it.

One of those apps that makes you go "why didn't I think of that?!". Dev comes across as super helpful. Well worth the 55p.

The moment I installed this app I realised it was a fantastic idea. Too often I miss message notifications. So something to alert me in a more prominent way is great. I love that it supports so many messaging apps. However I'm not certain yet if this is for me. Based on the idea of this app I created a Tasker script which just runs a vibrate pattern of my choice upon any message notification. I'm undecided which I prefer.

Apparently it doesn't work for go messages.

... This app is too big of a compromise for a Samsung Galaxy Note x device. When I tried to activate the service for whatsapp as per the instructions, I am told that features such a air gesture, smart stay, direct pen support and multi window will be disabled.... That's just not good. I won't leave 0 stars, but surely I'm unable to give more than 3.

Great help for keeping me Informed

I'm so used to it that it would be weird without it. Definitely helps. Funny when I could tell the intent, tone, with phone in pocket. Most of my customers text so it's a plus when I'm working and can't hear it.

I love how it makes my texts "feel" like they are talking to me. Great settings and overall awesome!!

The app support is great, this guy updates this app and improves it immensely. No longer showing up in the recent apps, improved instructions, etc. I remember when this app had a hand drawn icon and had the close app bug.

Now I can disable annoying Twitter text RT messages! Finally! It's worth the 1.49, the person doing support is really cool, and the app interface is colorful.

I really like this app. It let's me know if a text is worth looking at.

For what it's worth, I've been using this with Textra and haven't noticed any issues at all. Great job!

I edited my old review to upgrade it to 4 stars. Previous problem of mumble interrupting my current task has been fixed. And you ditched the horrendous old icon! It still sits around in my tasks after a text, but it doesn't eat battery so I can live with it (still keeps it from a 5). Overall, it has stopped me from ignoring/missing important texts like I used to, so it's already been worth the money. Hopefully android pays you a couple million to make it native!

I am impressed with your foresight on this. It is an incredibly useful idea and I'm getting more than my money's worth. Like Light Flow and Lux, your app has become something of a must have on my phone.

The UI is easy to use and quick! Everything about this app is so intuitive! Nice work, keep it updated! Although I am still having some issues with the app closing, its a small price to pay for something this great!

UI needs work.

Very innovative idea that works as advertised. Only problem is that it does not work transparently. When I get a new text, the mumble app itself briefly pops up and interrupts what I'm doing on screen, and then mumble stays in my running tasks until I close it in the task manager. It needs to run transparently. I don't need to be reminded of it with every text.
