Odin For Android

Odin is a tool used for flashing ROM and other firmware files as well as custom recoveries. If by any change you brick your device, you can use Odin as recovery tool and bring your device back to life. Custom or stock ROM and other flashable files for Samsung devices come in tar.md5 files. In order to use Odin, you will need the Samsung USB drivers installed on your computer and "USB Debugging" enabled on your phone.

The latest Odin version 3.09 bring a few changes, mainly improvements in the stock ROM flashing section, along with a redesigned interface. The names of the buttons for flashing files are different from Odin 3.07:

BL - Bootloader
AP - PDA
CP - Phone
CSC - Customizations
