Viber Confirms Outage, Working on Resolving the Issue

Viber confirmed the outage today (April 29, 2014) on Facebook saying they have some temporary service issues and that things will be back to normal within the hour. The downtime affects users all around the world, all having troubles sending messages and making calls.

Also on the Viber support website there is a message that Viber is experiencing a temporary service disruption and they are working on resolving the issue, thanking users for their patience while calls and messaging are down.

The outage started around 12:00pm Central European Time and two hours later it seems like Viber is still down. How long it will be before Viber recovers, it is unclear for now.

Update: Viber restored all its services today at 14:40pm CET.
