Andro Shredder

Andro Shredder is one of the best Android files Shredder Application. You have done a great work. I noticed that, attempts to wipe free space on selecting the device of choice among 1. /sdcard, 2. /storage/emulated/0, 3. /storage/6D82-74E5 and 4. SMS database. The action does not complete if the mobile device is allowed to sleep during the course of the action. It is only completed if the device is not allowed to sleep until the action is completed. Hope you will look into this issue and get it fixed in your next update. Looking forward to having your reaction soonest sir. Thank you.

I've been using this for over a year. Seems to work fine but I haven't tried to recover anything, so I can't say 100%. One major improvement I suggest is add shredding of the clipboard contents. A lot of stuff from cutting and pasting lurks there.

This app has amazing interface, but after using it is went to a "restore deleted files app" and the files/pictures were still recovered... so yea. Didn't work as advertised. :

Goofy Ui but best shredder. Not sure why others are finding they can recover files. Perhaps a manufacturer variant, a recycle bin they're not aware of? Works great for me.

Pro: Simple, clear interface. Can erase *any* file, and folders. Wiped easily. Good options for erasure method. Con: I could not search for folders, just files. So I did my searching in a file manager.

The files which were deleted using Andro Shredder were recoverable by Disk Digger. That was not so good. Another product (free version) made it impossible to be discoverable by Disk Digger

Recovered all files easily afterwards. Did not shred properly. DO NOT USE.

Really like this app. Good job developers. Few permissions. Fast for what it has to do.

Still all data recoverable from Deep Dig app.. Doesn't do what's described

You can accidentally delete downloaded movies and pics you don't want to delete. You can't identify all but it's perfect for the job 5 stars if you can make a list

I chose quick method to wipe the empty. But all files still able to be recovered

Did a free space wipe and disc digger app retrieved supposedly wiped picture. Wtf!

Seems to do the job, but now updated to include very intrusive ads. Uninstalled.

So I selected every deleted file it recovered and set it to be shredded, it said they're all deleted and then I searched for deleted files again and every single one it said I deleted was still there and no matter what I couldn't get rid of them. ._.

I used the app to wipe the free space on my Micro SD card. It totally killed the card, made it unusable. I could not even access it via my recovery program in Unbutu.

Did not overwrite erased data.

Hello, I want to tell you when I had the Samsung s4, there wasn't any issues. I would have given it a 5. I have now got the new Android 6.1 Moto G4, and while it searches it crashes when I use manual select to look through the results. Please help, or update for new marshmallow. Thanks for you're time.

I used a program called GT SMS Recovery to recover 3 separate messages I was using for this test. I tried multiple formats and options within this app. None worked. It claims it does, I have evidence That it absolutely does not. Try it for yourself. Make your own decision. I for one, will not use this anymore. I can only assume the file shredder is inadequate as well.

Did not work for the firles I was trying to delete, they were still present and readable after running every shred method available. Sure it works fine but the files are glitched to begin with, so that could be the main cause of app not working for me.

Works great on Jellybean but I've got problems on another phone on KitKat. The wipe features says it's finished after only 1 pass even if I asked 7 and files are then recoverable. An update would be highly appreciated (or open sourcing if it's no longer maintained)

After using this and running multiple times sad to say it didn't destroy pics..disk digger found all that I deleted. Not worth the dl.

The title says it all. Without this problem, this app would be perfect, but so far it has proven to be useless crap that is not worth downloading.

Quick shredding claims to be enough to make file unrecoverable but even the best shredding method can't shred files they are still recoverable by GT recovery. Wiping free space did not help. App was interesting but useless for now

But please add a grid preview in the picture selection so we don't have to go through every single thumbnail
