Baby Monitor Wifi

I would think one would want the baby unit to be the fixed IP to access, not the parent unit. This way you can use more than one parent unit to monitor...

Please try to make the app, automatically increase the notifying volume whilst parent app is on and revert back to normal, similarly opposite for the baby unit.

When I changed IP address it stopped working. Can't hear the other end

Worked good at first, but crashed after about an hour

Doesn't work. No sound coming from baby's monitor.

It was the first baby monitor app I tried. I didn't have to try any others.

Worked great. This monitored the baby and sent the sound to my phone. Will use again

Worked fine the first day, now it just won't connect. Triple checked the ip address and port, volume settings etc. Baby phone says it is currently set to transmit, but on the parent phone nothing but silence.

Why do I need to be notified every minute of no sound from kids room she is sleeping please get rid of the annoying notification sound

I find the new notification very annoying, I don't need to be told every minute that the baby hasn't made a noise do I? Make it optional please and will give five stars coz otherwise love it

Didnt work

It seemed to be the perfect app until it constantly starts disconnecting and won't reconnect itself. I suddenly can't hear what's going on with my baby in the middle of the night. Not very helpful. But when it is connected is crystal clear and exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use

I am a former Dormi app user and I enjoyed being able to hear and see my baby with reliability. And I've downloaded over 7 apps trying to find a replacement and all were completely unreliable. All I need is a basic monitor that is reliable and can let me hear what's going on in my child's room! And finally this is it. Thank you!

Great app! I love that I can have this for free. But... I noticed that even though the app is "closed" my battery seems to drain quite fast after downloading this app. It seems to hang open in the background occasionally. Otherwise great for free.

The range goes pretty far and clear as if I'm on the phone.. !!!

Just what you need if you forget your baby monitor at home. It's free, you just need a Wi-Fi and two smart phones.

Works great if your Internet connection is good. A slight delay in the sound at times but hey its free so no complaining

Great app.does the job well. Make sure that you sync up the parent and child unit before leaving the baby alone. And of course keep the baby unit phone ALWAYS on charging! As your old phones may not hold good charge. This is another app that killed a device, The baby monitor :-)

This app fitted my needs perfectly. All I wanted was something that would transmit the audio from my old Android device to my new one over WiFi. I didn't care about video transmission or getting alerts. It runs in the background too while transmitting the audio so I can do other things. And it's free! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because sometimes the audio does cut out when I have the app running in the background, but simply going back to the app on the parent device usually remedies this.

Monitor itself is great. Only issue is that it will randomly stop working. I've seen other people post this too. If you aren't constantly checking it, it is almost pointless to use because risk to not hear child is not worth it. Could not use this app while getting some sleep yourself. Also if you open any other apps while this app is running it makes it stop as well which I doesn't make much sense since the WiFi should be able to support two apps at once. If it wasn't for this the app would be wonderful!!!

Sound quality is excellent. If or only had video too...

This thing is free and surpasses the ease, and functionally of most store bought monitoring systems. I have have used 6 different systems that eventually quit working after a few months, and didn't have near the range I get with this, and that's not mentioning the extra coverage I get with the 3 network repeaters I have set up around the house. Another great feature of this is the audio runs in the background, so I can listen to music, what simultaneously monitoring my child.

Wife thinks the baby just slept through the night, but I feel that the monitor cut out with our janky internet. :( Works fine when your connection works fine, but I don't think it's worth the risk of leaving your child alone all night, especially with such a lack of extra features. We're probably going to invest in an actual monitor at this point.

It is a good monitor and has some good noise cancelation built in. Only thing that would make it better is: have parent be able to talk to baby through monitor.
