GarageMate, Garage Door Opener

Works as stated. Good price. Question: Is it possible to increase the range of the receiver. I have to be within 1 foot if the garage door to open it now.

Easy to do. The hardest thing about this install was getting the wire tie off the power cord

Galaxy S8 with a LiftMaster garage door opener. Absolutely works great! I drive different vehicles and lose the garage door remotes, but I have never lost my cell phone. I don't have access to WiFi at the garage locations. The GarageMate has solved several issues! Plus I've trained Bixby to open the garage door with a, short, verbal command. Now I will add GarageMate to other garage doors such as home and business. Thanks for solving my remote crisis!

Use to work. We got new samsung s8 phones and now nothing works. I have emailed support so hopefully they can get it working again. Maybe the receiver itself that is bad. UPDATE: Everything is working perfectly again. One of the wires from the GarageMate was touching the other one and it was not completing the circuit. Pushed the wires apart and now it is pairing like it should and is working perfectly.

It worked the first week and now it keeps saying it failed to connect and I may be too far away. I unpaired and it still doesn't work. Please help. I have a s7 edge

I would like to be able to change the person's number who taps the button to a name to keep track of family members who have the ability to open and close the garage door easier. Otherwise it works great.

I just installed and configured it for two phones and it took all but 5 mins. So far, its working great! I'm thinking of getting another one.

We moved into a house that didn't have a garage door opener, GarageMate allowed us to use our phones to open the garage door, it was a great convenience.

App works but can't return to the home screen using the return button. I have to close it by using the recently used apps button. Used on Samsung Galaxy s7 on nougat. Update: the very next day the developer contacted me and shortly after that sent me a fix. The new version works perfectly and now both app and receiver work fine together. Very responsive developer

Love this app and how it works. Unfortunately recent android updates have broken it. I'm not able to open or close my garage and I'm not able to resync it. Samsung S5 with 6.0.1. Please help. Thank you

We usually have to push the button many many times to get the door to close. Frustrating when you are in a hurry to leave and have to wait till the garage door closes.

Because of the Marshmallow update on the newer devices (Nexus 6P), the original chip/program on the device needed to be upgraded. Bluechip is still in the process of getting this issue resolved. When I called them I got an answer right away which is always nice given the fact that any company you call now, you have to go through a labyrinth of call redirections just to speak with the wrong representative.

Amazing support, and great product! The GarageMate module works great for me and my wife. It is very convenient for us to use our phones to open and close our garage door. So when a recent Android update to our phones broke GarageMate, we were very bummed. Despite the fact that we originally purchased the device over a year ago, we received a replacement device as soon as an updated version became available for no cost to us, even the return shipping for the old module was covered via prepaid shipping. We are very pleased with the device itself, and I wish I could add more stars for the support. Thanks!

When I first got this application, and its associated product, I was incredibly frustrated from the setup process. Over the course of the next few weeks (because of my bust schedule) there was a back and forth between me and the developers. It turns out that, not due to either my actions or the developers product, there was an intervening variable throwing the project off. Through dedication, fantastic customer service, and genuine concern, everything worked in the end, the application is a dream. Love it!

My door requires multiple activations to work. If it worked first time everytime it would be great

Android 6.0 (nexus 5) cannot pair at all but other phones can just fine please fix Update garage mate fixed my problem would reccomend

Your kids will lose their house keys, but their phone is glued to their head. This guarantees that they can get access. I recommend this device.

I am using the GarageMate 4.0 universal remote opener to operate my garage door remotely, and it works perfectly. I recently got a new phone (Samsung J1 with Marshmallow), which couldn't pair with the receiver. Bluemate immediately sent me replacement module, which I could install within a couple of minutes. Now all our devices pair and work properly again. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

Easy install. Let's us not have to rely on traditional garage door openers. Our whole family has phone access.
