Set Orientation

I installed this app and after setting it to landscape I was unable to set it back because the options were outside the view of my screen. I had to restart the phone and quickly uninstall before the app started. After uninstalling the app my screen rotation no longer worked. I have to reset my phone to factory settings. Update: this app completely screwed my screen rotation. After doing 2 factory resets my screen rotation still won't work. Thanks a bunch!

Easy always available notification link bar link, no ads in sight (which would have been extremely annoying as an always on app), this is exactly what I needed. My rotation sensor stopped working after I accidentally dropped my phone in the tub.

Use it on my phone and tablet. Absolutely forces every app to confirm. No more stupid little sideways start screens. Perfect for the tablet but on the phone I think the dialog box is way too big. Would prefer landscape portrait and off as the only options. Just being picky.

doesnt work "portrait sensor" on LG G2, I mean it doesn't portrait reverse in this mode. would appreciate if it will be fixed. but in sum perfect app. hope you will notice this review and fix this issue asap. it's extremely important for me now

Can't you make it so when the device changes orientation. Ie, trips the sensor, you display a pop up bubble the size of a finger with a rectangle circular arrows either side and a question mark inside it. Which basically asks whether to allow rotate on that occasion

My tablet's screen does not auto rotate and it really bothers me, I cant watch videos in landscape and its been a long time for me finding solutions in my case until i discovered this app... now i can watch my favorite videos in landscape this app really helped me a lot and it really works great.. thank you for creating this app.. i hope you continue making applications that helps any gadget problems... i recommend this app for those who have the same issue about their tablet like mine. this app is for you.

Since Spotify refuses to listen to the customer requests to make a landscape mode (duh), I got this app in the hopes that it would work. Not only does it work, but Spotify looks great in landscape mode! I have it on a Xoom in a dock and it works perfectly

installed it 5 minutes ago, but looking good so far. no ads, no trial, simple. I was having duh moments all the time. my phone refused to do reverse portrait. the home/back/etc keys are part of the display so there is really no valid reason for this restriction. this app fixed it. 4 stars instead of 5 because it wont make me coffee. now i keep hitting the home (onscreen) button by mistake instead of space. if i could solve that. but thats something else. thanks, btw.

Suitable to use when the phone (without softkey navigation bar) mounted on car holder while using GPS navigator where the charging cable unable to plug from underneath due to limited space available between windscreen and dashboard. With this wonderful app screen can be rotated in reverse portrait mode where charging is allow with the phone position upside down. NOTE: Some phones are not allow to rotate the screen in reverse portrait mode.

I use this app while connected to a monitor to avoid sidewards menus and it works just fine. I mean obviously it won't format some games like subway surfer properly as they were made for portrait. Some games and apps are good thought for example temple run formats perfectly on landscape. Once again great app

Firstly, I love this app. But there's a feature I hope can be added. That is, exceptions. I keep my phone and tablet locked to Portrait (Sensor) but the only time I find myself needing to deactivate it is when I watch YouTube and want to go Landscape full screen. If this app can automatically allow rotate in YouTube, it would truly be perfect for me.

Exactly what I needed. It does make a couple of the widgets I have smashed, but they still work. But overall, I love not having to switch over manually to landscape on the home screen (like other apps do). Glad this app is totally free too (unlike another app which only gives you a 7 day trial) Great app.

The app is tiny, a mere 111 KB, and it ALWAYS works. However, it is completely nondiscriminatory in its action. The phone app for instance does not work well with automatic and the video camera will actually stop recording if you tip your device too far, and it only takes about a 60° tip to do it. It needs an exceptions list and a presets table. I love the app but it has not been updated for more than 2 years now and these features are desperately needed. Hope to see some app-specific options.

Thank you for making this app. I have an older phone Galaxy SII and tilt sensor is probably messed up. Tried few apps not luck, than I searched "forced lock screen" in play store and found your app. Works amazing, with simple options, small size of app and nicely organized screen once it is in landscape option. Thank you again.

I love this utility and have been using it forever but now it's getting to a point where it will randomly (and silently) close and my device is upsidedown until I reopen it. I'd be happy to help test. Can't send bug report as it doesn't actually crash. Will re-rate later.

I was going to get this app 3 stars because it runs a little buggy and slow especially when trying to rotate the home screen but in concept, the app works and I see in the reviews below that it's working for other people so I gave it 4 stars. I'm uninstalling it because it takes 1.5 seconds to rotate my home screen. Everything else on my phone is super fast. The reason I got it was to have my home screen in landscape mode. I have an LG G3 running 3 gigs of RAM so memory is not an issue.

I use Android x86 on my computer, with a nonrotatable monitor. Some apps (I'm looking at you, Play Music!) force you to use portrait orientation, and when they set it, it gets set for the WHOLE DEVICE until reboot. This fixed it perfectly, and doesn't even seem to need root permissions. 10/10 would recommend.

For example, instead showing options in dropdown box, i think it is better to show them like a dial pad. This way the amount of taps needed can be cut down. Also what is the difference between automatic and automatic full?

I have KitKat 4.4 x86 running as a dual boot on my PC with Windows 7. As many apps run in portrait mode, this app is an excellent adjunct to my system. Allowing all apps to run in forced landscape (monitors are difficult to rotate). It is the best I have come across

5 stars if you had a settings which would auto force orientation as it does now but when I turn off the toggle with the stock quick toggle button it does not switch off the auto mode for the app without manually going into app and changing it. Nice job though being free with no permissions being used. Just allow it to be trigged off when stock toggle is turned off. Cheers!

It's a great app and is easy to use. One problem: it takes control of my brightness settings! I have no idea why but no brightness app works when this app is running (I tried 4-5 different ones). Aldiko can't even change the brightness levels. As soon as I close this app, brightness apps start working again. Running 4.1.2 on a RAZR HD

I prefer always landscape, always. I was using a different app that worked well to keep everything in landscape while the phone is in use, but it didn't affect the orientation of the lock screen. So every time I unlocked the phone I had to wait until it rotated back. Very annoying. This app works better. It has a setting to keep everything in landscape, including the lock screen. No more waiting for me. Great app...I appreciate it.

I bought an 8.4" tablet for one-handed operation as my old 10" just wasn't as usable for quick easy operation. Unfortunately Bleacher Report Team Stream insisted on landscape no matter how I held the tablet though clicking on an article would allow portrait. Installed this gem of an app and now it rotates like I expect it to and even the formatting is just right. 5*****

I dropped my tab long time ago... And it was really hard for me to change orientation to portrait ... Now I don't have to do complicated things like before just to get my screen to portrait :) thanks for this very easy to use and useful app

Being light weight in it's category it is very usefully performing it's job.. Bt I faced resolution problem while rotated in landscape mode in camera n default calling(while ringing n while on call) application.. I'll come back to it sometime to get a better version..

Works great. Noticed a little change in the butter. Movies stutter a bit. I'm not running it however because the portrait home screen is the only one that cannot be unlocked. But I must say well done. Thanks for the free download! Hopefully Google fixes this soon.

Its not often that I review an app buy this one actually works. N fact I'm using it atm while I write this review. Suck it n auto flip Mr screen n it works...I'll remember this app when I buy cellphones with dead screen issues usually the bottom right...lol I'm gully stoked with this app thanks guys

App that works.Now this app keep the screen lock no app can screw with the rotation that can totally drive one crazy.Thank you.Cant understand for the life of me way the developer do not leave a donation button.

Love this handy lil tool! I have installed this app on all my past droids, and tablets. This should be a stock app, great job to the developer for making it free, simple and work every time :)

When I use the phone, the whole screen goes black - think it's Facebook Hello app interfering with it....will keep working with it since I really like the landscape mode.

Love the app as finally lets me use phone upside down which I need for bike cradle, but when it's set to auto the HTC Camera app (on M8), just gives a black screen when launched. Setting this orientation app to default or using Google Camera app works fine. Hope this ca n get fixed but live with problem!

Better then 6 other apps, the other ones cant auto rotate the home screen (so charger port is on top) and this one doesnt require any permissions which I appreciate. Nexus 4

Rotates home screen on ZTE n9521, Lollipop 5.1 phone but does not display icon tags at all and Google search bar is not displayed properly. This issue is present on several other apps like this one.

Wow.Had my phone break a couple of weeks ago but its only the top corner so I can still use it as long as my screen autorotates. Yesterday I accessed sensitive info & my phone decided that autorotate was dangerous for my info. Fine. But once it turned off my autorotate I couldn't turn it back on coz it wouldnt rotate in the settings screen to let me press the part of my screen that works. I tried some other apps no luck.This ap does it with flare. So easy & simple. Loved the pull down action. :) Ty so much!

Upgraded to 5 stars. One of few well written apps that do not require access to my system. Thank you very much to Eyes-Free Software! 1. This app works exactly as expected. 2. No adware junk. 3. App doesn't require access to private user's data. Most "free" droid software out there require access to user's data. Thank you to the developers @ EyesFree. 4. App has a 290K footprint. Most other apps are bloated, multi-megabyte monstrosities. Kudos to EyesFree !!!

My phones accelerometer is broken, so auto rotation is not working hence i cant use my phone in landscape view, but this app allows me to swtich between portrait or landscape view at will, amazing, i can now use this phone for a little longer, thanks ;)

Works really well, a bit of graphics lag. But over all. A really useful app. I love what it does to the homescreen and app drawer.
