App stop working it was just fine sometimes give a error when open the app usually was ok with next start. Now error every time. Cant use the alarm. App onsnt visible from my play store. Customer support not exist.

D70%
by D####:

Since the last update the application fails to open total waste of money. When are the app developers going to learn if it ain't broke don't fix it. The older version worked ok.

R70%
by R####:

Poor log in performance on 4g connection this app needs seriously rework on performance aspect knowing its security related app.

P70%

Stopped working after the last update. Worked fine until then!

R70%
by R####:

Reasonable functionality, but drained the battery on my LG G6, so have uninstalled the app.

Y70%
by Y####:

Very good app. Need more functionality to control siren.

R70%

After most recent update the app just crashes at log in. Can't use it at the moment. Edit: latest update has fixed the issue, now working properly again!

R70%
by R####:

The app worked fine until the recent upgrade, can't log on now!!

M70%
by M####:

Great alarm system, great app, very easy to use. Good work guys.

R70%
by R####:

App is pretty flaky. Stopped working yesterday. Can't log in. Yale need to regress to previous version. How can I trust my VERY NEWLY INSTALLED alarm system. Also, when I get legitimate disarm messages, the person's name is always displayed as one of the smart device names e.g. lounge, as opposed to the person's name, e.g. Dave.

R70%
by R####:

It just about works, with a bit of coaxing. If it's not crashing, or constantly logging in, or gets stuck so I have to kill the app and log in again. Also there was that fun time I set the alarm off whilst setting it up and couldn't turn it off so had to yank the power and turn the battery off. That was fun....

R70%
by R####:

Used to work flawlessly. Had a firmware update on the hub this morning. Now the app just crashes when I try to open it. Have the ribs clearing app data and reinstalling the app but no difference.

Update 23/9/17 After new firmware and update of the app the home alarm set now bleeps for 30 seconds It used to bleep once Dead useful if you want to wake up the kids at midnight Seriously Yale your developers are hopeless. Would I really risk putting a keyless lock on this system Update 3/6 17 I fault called the app does not always warn of open devices, such as a patio door when setting. Their response was remove it from the system. This product is not fit for purpose and i will pursuing a complete refund. Update release not much better, device status are still all green despite all the windows open. It now tells you devices are open when setting alarm but not which ones and continues to set. If you miss the message the alarm will be set with doors and windows open. Update 15/5/17 The flashing house alarm is no longer present at opening of the app Update 12/5/17 Time on history log is now correct. New issue, on the opening of the app you get a flashing house asking you to disarm even though it's not. Spoken to Yale who say they are working on all the issues but there seems to be no version control or beta testing Crashes on opening. Doesn't report/detect open DC when not set or setting. Previous version was more trustworthy. Can now have multi emails and can manage pins remotely. History log reporting incorrect time. Yale have promised a new release in the next few weeks

R70%

The app stopped working yesterday after the latest update. It attempts to login and then crashes!

U70%
by U####:

App was working reasonably well, but since latest update unlocking the door (sliding the Key) now disable's and turns off the alarm, and does not unlock the door. What's module 2 are you releasing an updated lock module? If so how do you get it?

R70%
by R####:

Keeps crashing post update. App is pretty useless if it doesn't work!

R70%
by R####:

Please fix the app. Since the latest update it keeps crashing making it completely useless.

P70%
by P####:

Since updating yesterday (22nd September 2017) has used 20% of my battery in less than 24 hours. Poor

R70%
by R####:

We need to have the ability to set a sound/vibration to the notifications, at least when the alarm is triggered. App sometimes crashes on startup. Why do we need to contact support to get the SMS balance increased? If users do not stumble on this in the settings, they wouldn't even know the system has the capability to send SMS! Can this not be automatic? The device status should show the status of door/window contacts.

R70%
by R####:

Crash after crash. Nothing from Yale. Fraud. I wish it could be stopped from crashing on almost every use. It is wrong to sell a smart alarm with bad support software. My old comments following still stand as well. Kits delivered without devices pre learned. I simply cant seem to get the app to display devices I have gone through learning with. No phone help available as permanently experiencing unusually high levels of calls which is rubbish, they cant be permanently unusual. Wish I had read the comments before I bought the system.

D70%
by D####:

A little tricky to set up as the app didn't record any devices added when I used the initial setup wizard (might have been my network router/switches), but providing you think logically - it works (skipped wizard and logged in with account credentials already registered and devices showed up) App interface is good! So far, so good, but agree with others that it needs improvement to make it all that it could be. Hope Yale will listen and sort out the gremlins. But overall though - pretty good!

R70%
by R####:

Not bad but really needs the ability to grant different permissions per users. Hopefully this will be added in the future. Also; getting a "sensor is open" message when setting the alarm isn't very helpful. Why can't it tell us which sensor is open?? Battery drainage is also quite bad.

B70%
by B####:

Concept is good, but a few downsides. First, the most recent update has a huge flaw - it eats battery faster than any other app I have. There's no good reason for this, why wasn't it picked up in treating? Also, I'd like integration with other smart home products, like my Nest thermostat.

X70%
by X####:

Works most of the time but most recent update seems to have messed it up and the red house flashes but there's nothing wrong with the system! Has started draining my battery - 2% per hour!

Z70%
by Z####:

It's actually a nice app to use and look at. However, battery usage is absolutely terrible. This MUST be fixed above all over issues since it means my phone now struggles to last a day on a charge where as it would go almost 2 before installing the app. Given this is a 'smart alarm' a non-standard app for it affects its fitness to purpose.

N70%
by N####:

Alarm is great. The app runs great on my partners iphone. How ever there's times the app won't load I have to close and reopen. And it's draining my battery at an insane rate. Really not happy about this get it sorted!!!

P70%
by P####:

*edit, "since updated its been a terrible battery drain. 10x more than the next nearest app. Yale need to do something about this already!" Still needs work, but it's pretty good. Occasionally crashes. Time on the event log is an hour out with no way of changing it. No sound on push notifications, but that doesn't bother me. But you can control devices like camera and plugs. You can set the alarm away from the house if you forgot. No need for a (second) keypad nowadays. Makes setting up and controlling the alarm much easier - although it still feels clunky

R70%
by R####:

The app, for its functionality is great BUT it uses a massive amount of power when sitting in the background, second only to the screen! This drains the battery far too quickly and potentially means that you won't receive notifications or be able to control the alarm due to a flat battery

O70%
by O####:

As others have said below app keeps crashing meaning you now cannot set the smart alarm remotely at all. The Smart Alarm interface is awful too. And agreed, support is non existent. Yale need to get their act together.

R70%
by R####:

I like ability to control my devices. But have trouble adding new key fob. Also ability to change notifications. I would like to be priority notifications.

R70%
by R####:

The app is good but it has been draining battery constantly on a Galaxy S7. The phone therefore keeps reminding me that it is draining and needs to be shut down. Please fix that.

O70%
by O####:

Using up too much battery. Concept is good but needs ironing out

K70%
by K####:

Latest update eats battery life at a rate of up to 1.5% per hour and still no operational notification..

R70%
by R####:

FINALLY GOT IT WORKING (I think) but I'm extremely nervous about entrusting the security of my home to these idiots!!!!!!! Do they actually read their reviews? They're a total embarrassment!!

B70%
by B####:

Uses approximately 9% of battery every hour, this is ridiculous. Please sort this out Yale.

J70%
by J####:

My Samsung S7 keeps telling me this app is using a lot of battery capacity. It's probably using 20% per day.

M70%
by M####:

If the alarm is triggered, the app HAS to send a priority message to the phone, which it doesn't at the moment.

O70%
by O####:

What's with the 2% per hour battery usage?? Galaxy S7 Edge...

S70%
by S####:

Functionality is not the best.

R70%
by R####:

History log is 1 hour adrift with no way of changing it. Needs an audio alarm on the phone if your house alarm is triggered... just receiving a message or email is not enough. Recently the app is playing up and showing a red flashing house on startup but the actual alarm is not even armed. Only way around this is to select disarm and then arm it as usual and all is well. Basically a good app and easy to setup and use but needs the above points addressing.
