In response to feedback about passwords possibly being stolen, this app has never stolen usernames or passwords. They were used for the sole purpose of accessing the Slingshot API and never left the device (except in the HTTPS request to the API). To allow for transparency in this matter I have published the entire application source to GitHub.

A Broadband usage tracker for people who have Slingshot Broadband in New Zealand. It provides information on your data cap remaining, and total usage for the month, both on peak and off peak.
For AYCE (Unlimited) usage app will display current usage for that day (not total).
Users with iTalk will have their remaining iTalk minutes displayed.
This application is not developed by or associated with CallPlus or Slingshot. It simply accesses their API.
Your username and password are stored for the sole purpose of authenticating against the Slingshot API, and all communications with Slingshot are handled over HTTPS to protect your username and password over the network.

The app worked on my LG G3 then stopped, telling me it couldn't connect to Slingshot. I uninstalled and reinstalled but still no joy. Very disappointing.

It's stopped working completely (S3), won't even open. Slingshot's got their own app now, works great.

Fantastic little app. Shows used/remaining cap on your acct. So much better than logging into Slingshot's website. Thanks! The only thing that would improve it is if it told me how many gig were left per day ;)

Exactly the same for Galaxy S. Text only fills top left had corner of the screen, but you get the basic info you need. Widget would be nice.

This app worked fine so it gets 3 stars, BUT: However, about 2 weeks after I installed it, my internet cut off. I rang slingshot and they said my password had been change so that my broadband connection was suddenly connected to somewhere in Taranaki (I live in Auckland). They reckoned the only way someone could do this is knowing my account password (which I realised I popped into this app without thinking). I changed it back straight away, and I cannot be certain that this app stole my password, but it does seem suspicious to me this suddenly happens out of the blue. I can't be sure, hence 3 stars. This is NOT a official app from Slingshot, so I would not touch it. Giving your passwords into some rnadom app is never a good idea...
