DFS Shredder is a data shredding application which provides secure file deletion and secure free space erasing from your Android device .
Shredding is the only digitally possible method to permanently remove data from a device. Traditional data removing methods like deleting, formatting and flashing will not entirely remove the data from a device, instead they will just hide this data and make it inaccessible. But these hidden data can be accessed by anyone using data recovery softwares.
Data recovery softwares are very cheap and available to anyone. Which makes the possibility of someone else accessing the data, that you already removed, even greater.

6) US Air Force 5020
This method shred files 3 times using 1's, 0's & a random character. There is one final pass to verify shredding by trying to read from shredded location.
7) US DoE M205.1-2
This method shred files 7 times using random characters and verifies shredding by reading one time.
8) Canadian OPS-II
This method shred files 7 times using 0,1 & a random character and verifies shredding by reading one time.
9) German VSITR
This method shred files 7 times using 0, 1 & 10 and verifies shredding by reading one time.
10) Bruce Schneier
This method shred files 7 times using random characters and verifies shredding by reading one time.

Dont bother, i bought this and it did work. However, new phone and i cant activate. The publisher is more concerned with pirated copys than looking after their cutomers. Do youreself a favour "shreddit" its free and dose the same job as the paid version of this.

Its all in the title, nearly. The app doesnt completely erase all of a file (i.e. including the risidual data left on the phones HDD) for free. If you want that. This isnt the app for you.

I bought this app at the start of the year. I got the activation email and installed it. Last week I had to reset my phone so all my apps got erased. When I tried to find the activation email again to get the full version of this app i couldn't find it. I emailed the developer telling him what happen but never got a reply. This is the only app that I've installed that you basically have to pay for again if you have to reset your phone. Waste of money go with the free alternatives.

It shows me pics and video files from Internal memory, but I cannot choose any shredding method. It asks me to activate. Unable to access or wipe my SD card when I select "Shred External Storage". What is the purpose of Trial when I cannot use or even test the shredder?
